Meadowbrook is a wonderful Elementary school safe in the heart of Gladstone. The teachers and staff are kind, caring and compassionate. My child is finishing up her 5th grade year at MBES and we will miss them tremendously. The PTA at this school does so much for the students, I'll miss them too. In 5th grade your students are given an option to do Strings classes. Only 1% of school districts in the entire country offer strings classes anymore. The school district is also putting a lot of money back in to the building (as well as all other schools). I love this district. They care about the kids.

Meadowbrook is incredible. The staff is strong and work as a team and they have a lot of fun events throughout the year to enhance community and learning.

3 of my 4 kids currently attend Meadowbrook and we have had at least 1 child in Meadowbrook for the last 6 years. Both my wife and I have been impressed from the very beginning. Our oldest child was quickly identified by the faculty as being further ahead than the other students and was placed in a program to allow him to reach out and expand his learning opportunities. Our 2nd oldest child struggled with reading but again the faculty was observant and insured he got the additional resources he needed to catch up. Our 3rd child who enrolled in Meadowbrook had speech difficulties at first but thanks again to the great faculty, his additional needs were identified and extra resources and help were provided. This is a great school! Our 4th child is getting ready to enter kindergarten in the fall of 2015 and we are sad that she won't be attending Meadowbrook since our family is moving away. I am very impressed with the education that our children have been provided.

Meadowbrook is a horrible school. My children went there until 4th and 3rd grade. Shame on me for not leaving sooner. My oldest daughter's teacher wasn't there 2 days out of the week the entire year and she didn't get to progress like she needed too in Math. Also there was a poor substitute who put children down and nothing was done about it! Now my children in are in a new school and within a day there was a substitute teacher that got in trouble for saying mean things to students and she was out of there. Unfortunately my daughter is still struggling math due to lack of a teacher's presence. Poor school. PTA wastes money.

From day one, the school and staff have done all they can to help my son succeed. His teachers for the past 4 years have been great. One principle transition went smoothly and both principles worked wonderfully with him. Any issues that have arisen due to his needs have been addressed and brought to me. I am very happy that we are in this district.
