I feel the employees treat the work here as a job, not a career, if that makes sense. There’s not a sense of deep care or love for the work or the children. They are significantly underpaid and treat the job without care, meaning the children and their learning, because of their being overworked and underpaid. Reception doesn’t ensure the right child leaves with the right parent, they don’t ensure children leave in a reasonable time when picked up early (I personally have waited over half an hour to pick up my son for a doctors appointment, and 20 minutes to take my son to a funeral). The teachers don’t stop bullying. “Hey, stop” doesn’t get to the root of the problem. Again, they don’t connect with the kids or the work because they don’t feel valued.

This school is the last school you would want your child going to. A teacher attempted to jump me off of school property over an issue that never involved him. A police report was filed.

The principal at this school needs to crawl back under the uneducated, not qualified, poor excuse for a human being, bad attitude Rock she came from under. The school district must have been desperate and low on funding to wind up with her. Chalmers has the lowest rating of any school in the Gainesville area and will continue to do so with her employed there.

Right now floored, been three days , they have lost my paperwork for there lunch, there problem they fixed,! After i had to return to the school.2.Had the nurse today who wouldnt give me her name, tell me i had to pick my daughter up in one hour or she was going to call the police to come find me when im 126 miles in cleburn! (good luck with that) Not good ! Just got off the phone with the vice princ, Wow, need to start looking for another school but the school counsler is incrediable! Adminastration 1 star out of ten to be honest!
