Worst school ever!!!! My child was bullied nonstop. But she’s the one who they would punish!! She’s biracial. All the kids that was bullying her were white. They never held them accountable my child also has a disability!!! And she’s 8years old. They labeled my child as a potential future school shooter!!! She was trying to stick up for herself after being threatened they would not let us watch the school cameras that show the truth!! My daughter came from another school because she was being bullied and assaulted by other students. Now my child has to have her backpack checked everyday or just not wear one. Horrible school horrible principal. And the dean of that school told us she knew the girl and she would never threaten my child. But would not allow us to see the video. Biggest mistake of my life!!!!

Every teacher my son has been assigned to while at this school has been great! The class sizes are always small and the leadership does very well to keep you up to date and informed. My son has ADHD and has a 504 plan and I feel like the person in charge of this program could stand to be a little more compassionate and/or empathetic... their programs for accommodating kids with extra needs sort of lacks, which took away from our experience. Other than this, the school is small and great :)

In order to be a good school you need good leadership. You need to have the ability to hire and keep effective teachers. The principal, who might've been a good teacher herself, needs to be able to recognize teachers that have different strengths than her own. Until she recognizes this flaw in her management skills, the school will be what it has become, just another public school stuck in mediocrity.

I am amazed by the hard work and dedication of the Teachers at Glens Springs Elem. As a parent, I appreciated the preparedness teachers offer to students especailly in 3rd - 5th grades for upcoming tests. I noticed that the curriculum for Kindergartens is becoming more involved. There is reading and alot of web based programs. Overall, I think teachers do a awesome job. Thank you!

Glen Springs is truly an amazing place. I was a student here from K-5, my mom was a teacher here for over 20 years, and I am in my 6th year as the art teacher. There is an amazing staff, excellent leadership, and a wonderful group of students and parents. There is a sense of community and high academic expectations for all students.
