We have had a wonderful experience there. My child was challenged academically and given the opportunity for a lot of exposure to the arts. We absolutely love it!

The absolute worst! Get out if you are there & don’t go if you are considering! Ask around in the community too, this school has a terrible reputation!

So far, our experience is about an 11/10 . It's been great fun. Worth the drive if you cannot afford private school.

The school is a perfect example of a train wreck. It used to be better but is has been plummeting. The administration and teachers are less organized then the kids. They spend huge amounts of money on venues and other things that would be better used to help the kids. I am putting my little one into another school no matter what. Your kid will learn more and be less stressed watching PBS every day that going here.

Horrible!!!!! Your child will become depressed and stressed beyond belief. They are so disorganized and out of touch. They stressed the kids out for the FSA. They do not actuslly prepare them well. Most get 2 or 1 in Math. You have to teach your child on your own time which is a challenge because of the three hour homework load every night. The homework is all over the place. They are sent home with 27 pages of math every night and no instruction. 58 pages during Soring Break and even more during holidays. It does not even cover what is on the FSA. This is way too much for a third grader!If you complain about the homework load they target your child.

My children have thrived in this school. But my children truly LOVE the arts so there is no other elementary school like this one in Gainesville, private or public. They have learned to read music, gained self-confidence, and learned to read, write, and math. All of that without being all stressed out about the FSAs or other standardized tests. We are not into gossiping or blowing every incident out of proportion, so for us this school has been a God-send. In my opinion, some of the parents are more into the "drama" than the kids, hence most of the negative comments. In general, the teachers are loving and patient and the students get along with each other. It's not perfect, but it's been perfect for us!

This school used to be great. Then, it fell apart a few years ago. Horrible. Save your children and yourselves from the frustration.

Almost all of this school's teacher's quit in one year and the principal was essentially forced to resign due to one teacher's misconduct in the classroom (this teacher is married to the principal) and other dysfunction. Please research the school in the local paper and ask around in the community. There are deep problems at the core.

I am now graduating from Expressions. I loved going to the school and performing. The teachers are fun and (usually) easy going lol. Its a very relaxed school and a smart, fun school where I think I've made life long friends. The school is challenging yet the teachers will help you catch up of you are behind. I LOVED going there. And now I am graduating to P.K Yonge for Middle School.

As a parent of a graduate and a current student it is with the utmost confidence and sincerity that I rate this school an excellent. The staff care for the children and the children care for each other. There is a strong sense of community and respect of person. The arts are incorporated into the curriculum seamlessly~ and the children benefit from the small class size, individual attention and well rounded experience ELAA has to offer.

The people that have children that stay in this school are all very loyal and much like a school click - gossipy, etc. and they rated it well. I put my daughter here and pulled her out the school was probably the worst experience that she or I have ever had in her life so far and she is 15 now. I knew only three other people who had their children here and out of them one pulled their children out as well! We had a lot of questions about strangeness and inappropriate behavior...
