Very good school and I highly recommend it. Although some parents are getting mad about no homework, the teachers do such a good job that homework isn't necessary. They have an amazing fine arts program and a great sports team. Great School!

My main concerns are more with the administration at this school (above teachers) First, at this school you have lower, middle, and high class income families going here. So some of these kids are spoiled rotten and act terrible towards other kids and teachers. And yet I don’t see the administration doing more to protect the kids and teachers from this behavior. My child has told me horror stories of how some kids treat teachers and other kids. Middle school should be a safe place for learning and being able to teach, but due to the lack of leadership at this school I have lost confidence and transferred 7th grader to another school within the district. I have dealt with the principal when she was the assistant principal. She is slow in returning calls (average about 4-5 days) and likes to pass issues to someone else.

It sucks. The teachers are worse than the students; they don’t care about teaching at all. They’re more concerned about yelling or unreasonable punishment than helping us learn.

This school is a great enviroment for learning, with fantastic teachers and support staff. I've moved a bit, Texas, Georgia, Ohio; and by far Frisco Schools have been the best!

Real disappointment !!! Teachers do not care, disorganized system, no good way of students and parents to be informed about assignments/tests. When you speak to the principle you get no resolution since they just cannot accept any responsibility and there is no recourse for the staff and teachers for doing anything wrong. It's really sad that there goal is to just have fake good reviews and not to help kids be the best academically. I honestly don't know how they have some good reviews when you talk to other parents you find out how frustrated they are with this school. Teachers that don't care about teaching and poor Athletic dept. makes you wonder what does this school have to offer....

Hunt is a top notch school. The academics are challenging, comprehensive, and taught by very experienced and professional teachers. Your child will be very prepared for high school after attending this school. I love that you can take some high school courses in 8th grade like Algebra I. The principle is excellent as well. He runs a tight ship in a very caring way. The kids are great as well. All come from different backgrounds but it has a very family friendly atmosphere. This school should be a model for any middle school in the United States.
