Mclane Highschool is not a school you should send your kids to. As a student, it felt like most of my teachers were against me and then we have to talk about the way the school tries to do everything except help the kids. The community is nice but the fact they don't care for the kids is worse, the only thing they care about is how their school rating comes out to. Being inside of the classroom really feels draining with teaching methods being outdated and lousy.

I love this school and the safety measures it takes for it's student. My brother is currently in the JROTC program and doesn't stop talking about it. I feel like I can trust this school more than I can Bullard, where I feel like kids get easier access to illegal substances. I'm happy my brother wants to graduate from here and he's enjoying everything JROTC has to offer specifically at this school (trips, daily activities, school events, etc.)

Great school, has a lot of hidden potential and great teachers. Although it does have a bad history, these new generation of students are surely changing the campus in a positive way.

The school is fantastic! I attended here and graduated in 2012, and would like to say that the teachers here more than prepared me for college. I was able to challenge myself here with AP and Honors courses, participating in the Medical Magnet and AVID programs, being a member of several clubs, playing sports all year long, and being in student government. There are various programs and clubs students can be a part of here, from art clubs to dancing to even baking. Although the school lacks in funding, it is now undergoing its plans for renovation and will become the great and renown high school in the valley it should be. From great teachers who care about their students, to the principals who spend out-of-pocket money for the school to continue moving forward.
