Most teachers are very dedicated to their students. There are a lot of options for electives. Guidance department was very helpful but could use more personalized attention.

My kids were so happy there and had so much of learning in both behaviors and academic wise.

Terrible. They put students in classes they don't belong in to make them seem better. They put everyone in 8th grade in Algebra 1 even though some of them belong in Pre-algebra. The 8th grade curriculum according to the NJ Board of Education is per-algebra, not all of their students should be in Algebra 1. They only do this to make their school seem better.

My kid had a terrible experience at this school. Some teachers are good but overall has favoritism!!

This is a top notch school. I have a child who finished 8th grade in 2012 and one that will be going into middle school in a few years. The teachers at this school care about the education of the children, and are engaged with the parents. They have a challenging curriculum that makes children excel no matter their competency level. Dianne Brethauer, the principal, is great; she truly runs a smooth operation. The school activities are adequate and extracurricular activities are also great. My HS child wanted to go to a special academy at the HS level, and he had no problem competing with students from the larger regional district and getting accepted. If you are thinking about moving to this area, and are worried about what this school are like, worry no more, great school to educate your children.

This is by far one of the best Middle Schools in the area! While they have an excellent sports program they also offer an amazing menu of arts related activities - one of the best Drama programs in the area, amazing music teachers and clubs like the gardening club. Not to mention, producing some very high scoring students in the region.
