School is great. Many teachers are good. Principal is good and hears what you tell him but gets very defensive when you ask him deeper questions about academics. What they say and what is actually done is different. The challenges come if your child is high achieving and good at math and science. Their science teacher is way off and lazy and believes in really not teaching anything but doing experiments. I see parents give up and find extra events outside for kids to keep them engaged. Barring academics the school is awesome and the principal and teachers are wonderful. I would recommend highly but it maybe a good idea to keep your child academically challenged by outside activities. Trying to change the system is never easy.

Like any school, there are some real gems of teachers here. However, there is a growing problem with this school addressing the needs of high achieving children. After endless meetings with teachers, principal and district representatives, it is painfully obvious that parents are told what they want to hear. But beware to check if what you are told is actually put in practice.

Excellent commitment from the teachers and principal. Focused education based on the need or capability of the student. Teachers encourage the talented kids with more challenges to keep them interested, while nurturing the quality among everyone.
