If I could give this school a ZERO I would. They teachers and administrators are rude and they do not genuinely care about families. They seem to try new ideas to see if it will help, but they are changing things too frequently.

I love Aargon. My child went to school from kindergarten to 4th grade there. He was moved to Mesa for grade 5 because they moved the Special ED- significant needs class to Mesa Elemantary. I think that was a massive mistake. The Adminstration and the teachers were great at Aargon. I didn't get the same feeling with the staff at Mesa. My son's 5th grade general ED teacher at Mesa was terrible. She only paid attention to the kids she thought were smart. Mesa is not all bad. They have an amazing gym teacher. At Aargon all of the staff knew and loved my son. At Mesa it felt like the special ED kids were separated from the other kids. They clearly haven't had experience with them. At Aargon they were all very involved with helping our son grow as a person. He enjoyed going to school at Aargon. He liked every teacher he had there and so did we.

HORRIBLE school, if it were an option, I wouldn't even give it a 1 terrible star. I thought it was a good school but instead of helping the kids and push for them to be better, they say week they are supposed to be in 4th grade reading but I have then in 2nd grade so they can push their potential! I have not a clue how this could possibly happen. My kids even tell me the teachers don't know what their doing. I can't wait until the end of the year and my kids are going to be somewhere else next year! Extremely disappointed with the school and teachers. Also the teacher turnover at this school is ridiculous and they keep there favorites. Everyone who has kids here know this. Also shouldn't there be a dress code for teachers! Some of the clothes they wear should be on teens and not adults teaching our children! I have seen everything from stilettos to fish net pants with short shorts under. I couldn't believe it! Also the food is HORRIBLE.

I have been a special education teacher for 8+ years. I have lived in the D-8 boundaries for 6 years now. My grandson attends the Aragon Pre-K program. I have seen steady growth with my grandson as he has unique needs that have been provided for his education. I cannot say enough good things about the support and the care that my daughter and I have witnessed since his enrollment. The school system is only one part of a child's education. The parent involvement in their child's education plays a MINIMUM of 40% to insure that their child follows through with the expectation of the school and classroom rules. I would highly recommend Aragon Elementary to any new and/or military family.

I'm tired of this school and can't wait for the school year to be over to remove my kid from this school.... excuses... and blame Hey if your school scores are down then sit look at what needs to be fixed, Look at this they wonder why kids are stressed and emotional when a teacher can't pull a child to the side to question them about class work, they will do it in front of the whole school and now the child is embarrassed and crying this is harsh...
