Have been at the school for 10+ years and have seen it from all sides. Generally it is an excellent, Faith centered school with good people behind it. Before leaving a review, take advantage of the many opportunities to be involved in the school community.

Over the past 10 years, we have had three children either graduate from or are still attending Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic school. While anyone could find flaws in any organization, overall this is an excellent school with hard working, dedicated teachers and leadership. If you are considering this school and want to have the best experience, simply be present and get involved. It's easy to criticize from the shadows. If you ever feel there is a an issue that could be improved then respectively step in and offer to help. Thankfully this school has amazing families that volunteer time and enrich an already solid school experience.

This will be my child’s 9th year at St. Elizabeth. We love the community and the staff! All the comments about the wealthy families get what they want is wrong. Communication is key no matter what school you’re at.

Saint Elizabeth is a very effective school that provides a caring and respectful atmosphere. I love how integrity and compassion is emphasized in the classroom during the school year. Saint Elizabeth's staff/teachers are doing an all around wonderful job. We are very happy our daughter can attend this school.

The leadership is horrible. The staff and students know as long as you give money you rule the school.

I absolutely love this school! My children attended a public Southwest school for 5 years prior to this school, and I definitely made a wonderful choice in making a change. They are all extremely happy and thriving at this amazing school. The learning and "family feel" make this a great place to be!

We currently have 6 children attending Saint Elizabeth and are absolutely thrilled with the education and spiritual development that our children are receiving. Not only does Saint Elizabeth attend to our child who has dyslexia with a multidisciplinary approach but they also provide enrichment to my daughter that requires more challenging work. It is absolutely apparent that the teachers at Saint Elizabeth truly love their students and go above and beyond their daily instructional requirements. The sense of community and parent involvement keeps our entire family invested in our time spent at the school. We also love the aspect of being able to drop off all 6 children together at the same location and at the same time. Not only does that help us logistically, but it is also comforting to know that my kindergartener can see his siblings each and every day.

St. Elizabeth Ann Seton School teaches to our whole child. While receiving a rigorous education, he develops spiritually in loving community. We have put 4 children through St. Elizabeth Ann Seton School and couldn't be happier!

I have two kids attending and this is our third year at St. E’s. We have had great experiences with the teachers and administrative staff. In our first school year St. E’s had just completed a facility expansion and split from St. Joseph Elementary, which used to share the same campus. We were not there for this “breakup” but my understanding is that this was a frustrating time for many families, which might explain some of the negative comments from 2014. I love the student-led conferences for teaching the kids to take ownership over their classroom performance. The teaching has become more individualized this year thanks to recent technology investments. We are also very pleased with the spiritual development we have seen in our two kids. As an active parent volunteer I have observed a wide range of parent involvement and think that is an area where our school still has room for improvement.

Awesome school with dedicated staff and faculty; the resource department is by far superior to any in the area! Students and staff share Christ's message by participating in service projects.

I am not one of the wealthy parents. I'm just a single mom wanting her child to have a good Catholic education. My child was diagnosed with ADHD and her teachers have far exceeded any expectation I ever had of what a teachers responsiblity is to the student. The teachers communicated very well. They would send e-mails and we would meet and they would let me know how things were going and if something was working or not. I got my child tutorinig help during the summer and the Resource Teacher was wonderful with the follow up once school started. The Resource Teacher is keeping my child on her radar to make sure my child doesn't slip in learning and if so the Resource Teacher will step in to help get my child back up to speed. The staff at the school know my child and myself and really care about my childs success. They make us feel like we are a part of something wonderful. As I said, I don't have a lot of money but I want the best for my child. My child loves the school and staff.

I have to laugh at the person talking about the playground, as well. At the time they wrote their review, there were not 4 staff members plus volunteers out at the playground. They have 4 staff members out there now, but didn't then. I completely agree about the fact that the principal caters to the wealthy. It's blatantly obvious, too. The principal is a joke. The kids mean nothing to her unless they're wealthy or doing something that brings positive attention to the school. The only reason you hear from the principal on a weekly basis is because she has to write something for the Wednesday envelope. Otherwise, you only hear from her when she wants money. There are a handful of teachers/staff members that are mean to the kids. They yell at them and put them down constantly. You don't use yelling and intimidation to teach a child. People have complained to the principal about these teachers and nothing is ever done. Other than the handful, there are some great teachers. Unless you can put up with the politics of the school, don't send your child here.

Administration puts the opinions of wealthy families over all else. In short, wealthy students and their parents run the school. Teachers and other families are routinely disrespected and mistreated by the administration and the wealthy families the school caters to. The school is in the process of a major, multi-million dollar expansion, making its wealthy clients even more important to its future status. My experience is that this school is "Catholic" in name only. Sadly, this camel has a long way to go if it is going to fit through the eye of a needle. It's getting more and more difficult to hear the Gospel message at this school.

I love the person pointing out the playground is safe. It doesn't exist now and didn't at the time of her review. It was torn down to expand the school. Does she even actually send her kids to this school?

Totally disagree with the other reviews. I have 2 children in the school. Both have done very well. Communication from the principal is at least weekly. Communication from teachers is the same. As far as fundraising--children are not asked to sell candy etc. the playground is safe with slides etc. Some of the kids like to play kickball or basketball on the blacktop. There has always been at least 4 staff plus volunteer parents supervising. I could go on and on...a great school.
