This School is amazing! The teachers are very kind and supportive! The principal C Brian Howard is so caring of our kids! I trust this school 100% with my daughter and wouldn’t think of sending her anywhere else!

Haley is a phenomenal school that has created the Haley Family. This family involves all staff, students, and parents. Just like all families there are miscommunication, disagreements, and misunderstandings, but they must be addressed and talked through. Everything has a solution of some sort. I know as a teacher at Haley I work really hard to build a community in my classroom. Not just of learners but a community that respects ourselves, one another, and our environment. I work with kids on owning behaviors and making it easier to own up to their actions and making them right. It saddens me that there are so many generalizations about Haley teachers on here. The job isn't an easy one. Kids come from different places and bring different experiences with them. This makes the job incredibly challenging. It also saddens me to think that parents honestly believe everything that comes home. My moniker is...If you believe half of what your child comes home and tells you happens at school, I'll believe half of what they tell me happens in your home. Parents would be astonished at what kids tell us. We must remember, it's coming from the perspective of a 5-12 year old. Get the adult's version too. Misunderstandings will impact your child's education immensely!

I think J Wilbur Elementary is probably the best school my kid has every seen! Its the best and personally my favorite!

Brandon White is the worst principal. This school fails in more ways than one.

I feel this school does a great job with there teaching staff and which helps our children with there education and social skills I've seen my child grow so much since being there for kindergarten. I hope 1st grade will be even better!

Were not even finished with the first week of school this year 2016 and my daughter is coming home saying her teacher grabbed her by the back of the shirt and pulled her back and told her to SHUT UP my daughter loved school until now!

Poor teachers that don't actually teach anything, no consequences for violent behavior from special needs children, violent special needs child left unattended while he assaulted my child and was given no repercussions.

If you had asked me to rate this school last year, I would have given them a much lower score. Principal White has really turned things around as far as the experience my children and I have had. There are some really wonderful teachers (others I think should really find a new profession). It seems so far that the new teachers he has hired are quality educators. I had been considering relocating my family to get away from the problems we had before, but I am optimistic that this improvement will continue and grow.
