I hated attending this school, the admin staff was cruel when it came to student with learning difficulties. My brother was basically expelled once he received an Autism diagnosis. The only GOOD teachers I had were Mrs. Bries and Mr. Robinson. everyone else ridiculed you for not understanding. Saint joes has a strict and hard curriculum if you transfer in you are basically screwed. and if you don't do well you are treated horribly by the teachers and basically ignored even when you ask for help. I would NOT recommend this school for anyone and from what I have heard after leaving is that it has gotten much worse.

Fantastic school with very involved parents. The parents of the other kids in the class care as much as we do about the quality of the education.

St. Joseph's does a fantastic job of not catering to the lowest common denomonator. Our child is advanced in reading and the small class size has allowed his teacher to provide the individual attention necessary to keep him challenged and progressing. Even if you are not a Catholic, the elementary education provided is second to none in Jefferson County/
