I would like to start by saying this school is highly political. It's about who you know. I put my children in this school in the middle of 7th grade and they have been targets every since. I would just say if your children didn't start in this school, placing them here would be a mistake. My children are not "bad", however the teachers email and call me as though they are the baddest children in the school. I find that hard to believe when my children come home everyday with stories of fights and THEY ARE NOT APART OF THEM!!! WITH THE CALLS AND EMAILS I FIND IT HARD TO BELEIVE THAT THE TEACHERS ARE TEACHING IF THEY ARE DOING THIS WITH ALL STUDENTS THAT ARE MISBEHAVING......

I really like how Parker offers honors classes. They also have a partnership with H-F high-school for those students that are even more advanced.

School administration is a joke. Fights occur nearly everyday, we once had 3 in a day, all separate incidents, before the first bell. In my 3 years there have been SEVERAL incidents of someone threatening to or actually bringing weapons and the incident being ignored. There was recently an inappropriate incident between a teacher and student and because administration dismissed the event the student was harassed by peers AND TEACHERS until she quit school. This school is terrible, if there is another option it is the better option.

I loves Parker. All my teachers love me and are very nice. There are some bad things but mostly I love it. There are some fights tho. Racism and sexism as well but over all it is good. The bus drivers a terrible. Bus 17 has the worst in my opinion. #JustTheTruth.

I really liked it here. I was only here for my 8th grade year and a loved it. I never got to make any friends since we were online most of the year but I liked all of my teachers and they were pretty nice. There were plenty of nice clubs to join. The teachers that I had were very supporting and helped me when I needed help. I can't give an in depth explanation on everything since I was only there for 1 year and online for most of it but I recommend it for others.

The new district leadership and school administration has improved this school tremendously. The teachers leading the extra curricular activities engage the students and feed the kids’ enthusiasm for the arts. The diversity of the staff is such an important factor in providing positive role models and mentorship.

Parker has had a change in leadership over the last two years and boy, what a turn around! New leadership deals with problems that may occur with students and takes things very seriously, while teaching how to work through issues with respect. The teachers are also extremely competent and it has been my experience that in the last 3 years they are happier with new leadership as well.

This is a "New" Park Junior High School compared to a few years ago.The curriculum is balanced, the teachers are more than helpful and my children actually like it.: )There are no discipline issues since they keep the classes separate from each other (6,7, & 8).

They don't punish kids for fighting. A student got put in icu(intensive care unit) due to being jumped by a fellow student at this school. There were 0 consequences. This is a common problem among middle schools: lack of consequence. Obviously these students know right from wrong, they're almost in high school. Parker is a terrible establishment. Also, I used the bathroom once and there were so many roaches. It's not clean, they allow students to hospitalize each other, it's not somewhere I would send my kids ever.

I am a student at Parker Junior High School and today is March 9, 2014 and it is 10:35 & I just wanted to let whoever is reading this know that this is a terrible place. Don't let your child(ren) suffer/ go through the things I go through.
