The Good: I absolutely love the staff and resources available at FMS. The students are able to take Encore classes and extracurricular activities that most people could only dream of getting to take or participate in.The Bad: Some of my students are very disrespectful and/or defiant.

The staff and administrators truly work hard to put the kids first! They come in early, stay late, and use every available minute of the school day to make sure they are working for the best way to educate each and every student at FMS!

Great school! Multiple communication channels for parents to access school-related information. There is a very large variety of extra-curricula activities to be involved in so there is something for all interests.

Florence Middle School has a place for every student, no matter their interests. We offer multiple opportunities for students to be engaged in academics, extra-curricular activities, and athletics. I don't know of another school with such a diverse population and with so much available for students. The teachers definitely want what is best for the students.

The staff at Florence Middle are kind and caring. The school is dated, however the education program is wonderfully staffed with caring faculty and staff.

Florence Middle School strives to raise up leaders who will be able to transform the city and state. A large variety of classes are offered to meet a variety of students.

I really enjoy working at FMS! The administration and staff are dedicated to the students and their needs. Everyone at FMS is supportive of all the new technology and finding the best way to meet the students goals.

The staff here is excellent. When I was a first year teacher so many of the staff were helpful to me and gave tremendous advice. This school offers so many more opportunities for the students than most middle schools.

I rated this school good because the students and teachers have good connections. In my opinion, these are two of the most challenging grades to teach because students say what they like and this is the age when drama starts to happen. The teachers at this school now how to deal with the problems that students have. The teachers are also very trustworthy.

The teachers at FMS are great to work with. I know I can count on them to help me. I enjoy having an iPad and my books being on it. Edmodo is a wonderful resource for my classes too.

Florence Middle School is a wonderful school. It has so much to offer students. Students can take honors classes and electives that were not even thought of when I was in middle school. FMS also offers several extracurricular activities, such as sports, band, and various clubs. One thing that I have enjoyed while working here at FMS is how nice and helpful the other teachers and staff are. I have really enjoyed working at FMS. I think everyone strives to help students see their potential and reach that potential in all aspects of middle school life.
