The teachers at BHP are all incredibly dedicated and caring of each child there. They all live these children and it shows. The principal is very engaged and supportive of the students as well. The only thing I would like is more opportunities to volunteer with my child’s class.

I would imagine that if a person cares enough to post on this website they have cared enough to sit down with their child's teachers. You can sit and talk to the teachers and staff until you are blue and it won't help! If your child has no issues your great but I think their take is completely accurate. They concern themselves much more with how a child is behaving than how they are learning also Fitzgerald is known for being a socially prejudice little town and it carries over into the school system so the only way you are listened to at this school is if they think that you are worth hearing I know this to be true because I personally know many people there and I have no problems but I have friends that are not considered to be as high up the social ladder and they have nothing but problems.

I'm a parent, and I've worked with almost every teacher at Ben Hill Primary. I'm sorry the previous parent has recorded such a sad experience, but I don't think their take is accurate. I believe this person would benefit by sitting down and talking to their child's teacher(s), either of the two wonderful counselors, the very kind vice principal, or the patient principal. All of these folks work very hard to listen to suggestions and improve the children's experience in this school. Also, I am happy to help this parent with their spelling.
