My daughter was bullied by her teacher. After talking to other parents the same has happened to their child. Of course when I talked to the principle the teacher is an amazing person. Also on numerous occasions the school runs out of food for the children and gives them a few tater tots and fruit. Or even your child is even 10 cents short for lunch they get string cheese with an apple. I have had nothing but problems with this school.

We had 2 great years at EVES. While our principal was not my favorite, I loved the kids' teachers. Our favorite teachers are now retired or have moved on to new schools...but there is still a great staff at EVES.

This school should not be ranked 9. .Poor playground equiptment, poor teacher guarding on coats etc.. Teachers move and move on. Take zero responsibilty On late or "fix" homework. How can we fix if it doesn't Come home. I had teachers that graded daily.. Not here and no communication to parents. When there are tests required in school.. Teacher needs to make sure it is done. Not expect a 10 year old to act like a 14 year old. I wish there was a alternative school.. I heard teachers talking bad about students. And the principal sees nothing but awesome and every teacher is the best. Wish there were more schools or options. Guess if you are from here.. Maybe it is great but when you have seen wayyyy better. Hard to see this 9/10 of schools. Has me worried about the next school. Teachers need to hold some responsibility and grade towards that. There are schools that deserve a 9/10 but not this school. Parental voice means nothing here.. School is hot and stuffy.. Back almost 30 kids into that.. If the teachers are chilly , pack a cardi

Also.. Recess should be addressed. 10 min recess time is a joke 2- 20 min is way better then a bunch of 10 minute. Kids need to decompress after being stuck in a building All day . They need time to play especially since there are Way to many kids per class . My kids grades have dropped and this school Is easier. Teacher quality makes a difference. Wait till after the fact with out contacting parent .. Shame shame..

My 2 kids have been going to this school since it opened, my son is now in high school and my daughter still attends EVES, and we are very pleased with this school. All but 1 teacher has been amazing, that 1 teacher no longer teaches there, and my kids were fully engaged and ended up loving school, loving the teachers and made wonderful friends! The office staff is very helpful and very attentive. I would call to relay messages for my daughter and they would know who I am and my daughter, her grade, & her teacher. The PTA is doing an awesome job with all the upgrades to the playground and the multi-purpose room. Their involvement with the community is outstanding. This is a great school and they really focus on education and always strongly encourages students to do their best! Only thing I don't like about EVES is it's only K-4.

This is school is wonderful. It has a hard working staff, rewards students for their achievment and has a friendly atmosphere. It is obvious that they care about their students and works with parents to help. I was impressed with the PTA and what they do for the school.

I volunteered at the school in my daughters kindergarten class. I got to see 1st hand the daily operations of the kindergarten class. The playground has enough equipment for the kids to play on but could use more. Not real important in my opinion. The school has a decent library/computer lab. I really like the fact that they integrate the coomputers and internet into learning, considering that computers are an important fact of life now days. Grading and testing from what I saw is a bit rushed but the concept is good. The teachers will provide very specific things that the children need to work on or have improved on. My only real concern with the school was the half daykindergarten. That has been switched to full day now.

My daughter has been in this school going on her 3rd year and we love it. We have teachers that care, are involved and work to help the children to learn. Each teacher she has had challenges her every day. Every experience I have had with the principal has been positive. I feel she's steering the school in the right direction.
