A mi hijo le encanta su escuela y profesores. Y siempre nos ponen al día de las actividades.

My son has been going to the school for about 6 years and ever since they switch principles mr. Hernandez has been nothing but the absolutely best! I wish I can take him to middle school with us!

The old administration was not very effective. I hope the new principal, who starts this year, is a true leader who sets the bar high and takes the school to a new and higher level.

The teacher's my son had were amazing. However, I personally do not care for the principal or staff. I've spoke to her before and she seems to have a standoff attitude. Also, I witnessed her being rude to a parent. I am excited this school year is coming to an end as I am removing my son from this school.

I Would never send my child or anyone I love To this school. The administrators are bullies. I have heard and seen one of the administrators say that she condones a child to hit another child, I witnessed her telling another child that if that child didn't want another child near them to hit them or push them away and if someone fits you you hit them back. I could believe what I was hearing. Never did she tell thAt child to seek help from a teacher or another adult. Please don't send your child to this school! They condone bullies and accept it at this school. Awful!!!

We love this school! I love that they are one of the Spanish Immersion schools, and I feel it gives a huge leap to my child's academic future being bilingual.

My child has ADHD and PTSD. His medical diagnosis was ignored and he was labeled "disruptive" and suspended and disciplined because of his disability. The school administration bullied the child and an IEP was scheduled to go in effect 7 months after the school year started. We finally withdrew our child and home schooled him.

EE Miller School has a very caring, safety-conscious, scholastic minded, nurturing environment. They are getting better at communication with parents and getting families involved with the child's schoolwork. They need better organization for events and student pick-up after school is a real zoo. This needs to be addressed.

E.E. Miller was a great school then Ms. Booth took over. Kids were pushed aside, staff that have been there for many years left. Leaving the school with new staff and no support for our children or us as parents. I pulled my child out after her first year as a principal. There are better school around E.E. Miller

E.E. Miller is a great school. We have a daughter and son who both attended Miller. My son is in the Spanish Immersion Program and it is the best thing that could have happened to him. The teachers truly care about the children. The environment is fun and productive. The children are well behaved and show respect to the teachers and staff. My daughter did not like the school lunches but my son never misses a meal. The Spanish Immersion program has a very strong parent involvement which I believe is part of what makes this such a successful program, which includes high test scores for this group of children.

Our son is in kindergarten at E.E Miller. The teachers are excellent, and the administration is top notch. I believe this school's low test score are a reflection of the below average parent involvement in their children's education. The opportunity is there for parent involvement, the parents choose not to exercise it. Just because you are a tax payer doesn't mean that you entirely outsource your children's education to the school system. By complementing our child's studies at home, and staying involved we've found that together between our family and E.E Miller our child is receiving an excellent education. Test scores say more about the parents than they do about the teachers and the quality of education delivered. I rate parent involvement 5 stars despite the lack of participation because the opportunities to be involved are offered though many choose not to participate.

Our experience at EE Miller was not a successful one. This year itself proved that this is not the school or administration that this school is known for. I feel the principal leadership is more based on micro-managing and proving points, rather than building a positive relationship with the EE Miller staff and families. Her interest and practices are not benefiting our school or children. Test scores are really low, our disenrollment levels are way low, as well as the staff morale. It's bad when you hear administration bickering among themselves and speaking of leaving to find new employment because they are unhappy. What is a parent to feel???? I have been apart of this family for a long time and it a SHAME to see what this school has been reduced too, due to the wrong leadership practices. Please lets look into getting this school back to where it should be. We need a leader who can articulate, have understanding and will use spell check before sending letters home to parents.
