Absolutely love this school! The administration is welcoming and want you to be involved and create numerous ways for us parents to be involved in the classrooms and activities around the school! The teachers are hands down the BEST! You can see the dedication and hard work they pour into our students. My children love this school!

The teachers, administrators and support staff are all welcoming. They encourage the students to use the 7 habits in everything they do. I appreciate the way that they invite everyone to participate in making the school shine. It is truly a lighthouse school. Keep up the good work!!

My overall experience with SHE has been great! I have 4 children who have attended here. Two who have graduated and two currently attending. The school went through a rezoning last yr which was an adjustment for everyone. I feel that it's only fair to allow the staff time to adjust to the changes. This was just the first yr of this huge transition. We lost the majority of students due to the rezoning...this was their home school & a hard adjustment for those students as well. It hasn't been easy, but PLEASE give the staff a fair chance & time to make any necessary changes that's needed & prove themselves. I've been involved with SHE since 2009 & our experience has been nothing, but great. I can genuinely & honestly say that the teachers, principal, vice principal, counselors, and even the nurse have been there for our children & have shown sincere concern whenever we needed them. No school is perfect & we can all find some kind of flaw with any school, but I will say that the good definitely outweighs the bad. For those who are new or those considering SHE , my advice to you would be to make an appointment to speak with the principal &/or vice principal to discuss any concerns.

I have to agree with the previous posting. My child was also transferred as a result of rezoning. The teachers are disconnected and seem to not want to "deal" with the transferred students. The principal and vice principal seem to walk around in a bubble oblivious to boot camp environment they foster. The teachers scream at the children all day. Administration is more concerned with creating OBEDIENT DRONES than teaching. The administration and teachers have no educational expectations of excellence of the children. Lessons consist of handing out worksheets.

I despise dealing with the administration staff at this school. I hate that they rezoned the area and my daughter was forced to go to this school. If I had adequate transportation and could send my daughter elsewhere, I would! I loved her previous school and this one just does not measure up to my expectations.

SHE has been amazing since the first day of school. The school's"Leader in Me" program is a great addition to an already wonderful institution. Watching young children learn the fundamentals of leadership and responsibility has been inspiring. All in all- this is a great community school.

I am very pleased with SHES. From the time that you enter the main office Ms. Jan White gives you her undivided attention, has a positive attitude and is very respectable. The teachers that my kids had I felt took special interest in keeping my children on task. It makes it easier when parents can work with their children along with the teacher to have your child successful in learning.
