I have been a student here for 6 years (I've been to two other schools prior to this one) and I feel like this has been the worst one so far. If it was not so bad, then why do most students agree with the fact that thus place sucks. I have no clue if I will switch schools or not but with the way this school has been I'd be open for a new one. I have minor Autism and I feel the treatment of special needs in the school is attempted but in the wrong way. Sure some of the teachers are good but that's the small minority of them. I will give them props for having decent parent/child connection on the schoolfront, but other than that and the college prep called 'CTE' there really is not a whole lot to compliment about this place. The people have put me to borderline breakdown multiple times a month and the staff do not do anything to stop the bullying issue. I will also give them props for at least having a better hands on program for job/college prep than most schools, but then again that isn't just farwell, that includes the rest of the main schools in Clare County. I will not be disclosing my name in this, partially because of my own safety but also because I feel that the schol could use this against me to land me in a suspension. That is all I have to say on the matter

Farwell High School does an excellent job of preparing students for life outside high school. They offer career technical education (CTE), such as welding, health care, culinary, construction trades, automotive repair, etc., dual enrollment in college classes, and an Early College program for students who wish to obtain up to an associates degree while still in high school. They offer mental health and social work professionals for students who need additional support. The small school is a very caring family atmosphere, and the staff go above and beyond every single day to ensure that students are receiving what they need to be successful. Farwell offers sports (including powerlifting and bowling for both boys and girls), band, bass fishing club, wood shop classes (a favorite of many students!), Quiz Bowl, robotics club, and other extracurricular activities. I'm proud to send my kids to Farwell!

While attending this school I was basically ignored by teachers because I was not pretty and I did not play sports. I was also ignored when it came to needing help. They would tell me the basics and then go to the next student (that was a sports player or really pretty) and assume I know what I am doing. The facilities and the office staff were excellent though. The new cafeteria is amazing. They need to lower their prices or serve more food. The price isn't worth the food.
