    This school is great and it has a lot to it, and the teachers are great.

    Excellent. Is is perfect? Of course not. But NO school is and neither are people, parents included. I have witnessed firsthand the dedication, grit, enthusiasm and professionalism of the entire staff. There's no other middle school we'd rather be at, my child included.

    Almost too much to write. Bullying is prevalent. Fighting is constant in the hallways. The administration says it’s because the children are from single parent homes. Families are spoken of badly. The principal is a graduate of Fairview and speaks of her experience as if she survived Vietnam. She is well known for having been a bully, but tries to sell herself as someone who survived it. FvES and FvHS are very good schools, their leadership leads, whereas FvMS does not lead, they boss. Hang on for three years, keep your head down, then shake the dust off and say goodbye.
