Large class sizes 1/25. Teachers use walkie talkies for support with behavior and disorder students, reguarly, multiple times a day.Retaliation against student and family when questioning disciplinary policy and education curriculumOne students behavior issues dictate educate curriculumbfor classroom.School received a "c" 2 years in a row by TNDOESchool is 1/6 schools to receive a "C".School is 1/29 elementary schools in district.Small town personal relationships still exist here.

I have been nothing but impressed with Westwood. As a former teacher myself coming from Southeast Tennessee to Fairview - the difference between one child’s elementary experience and this one’s is drastic. My daughter is very well prepared and performs above average in math and reading. The teachers work their tails off and the transition from year to year is seamless. Love Westwood!!

Our teacher is incredible and gets 6 stars out of 5. Overall, Westwood gets a 3, for me. School bus system is rough in our neighborhood. Driver is rude to the children, even the well-behaved ones- and so cranky. Not a great way to start and end the day. Unresolved conflict brought up to principal, never got back with us. We drive our. Hold every day now. Playground and bullying in general is an issue. Certain faculty members look like their job is enjoyable. Others are the opposite and makes me want to yank my child out of the building. Have we ever had an entire perfect school and all members of faculty be caring and polite? I guess it’s just like an example of our world. It has some of everything in it. Hope you get a great teacher or know people who can arrange that or you gamble.

Very negative experience. Very disappointed as Williamson County was supposed to have such good schools.

I am amazed at the last 5 years and how well the teachers, staff etc. really engaged the children. We miss it dearly.
