This school has a huge bullying problem and I would like it if they payed more attention to it but other than a huge bullying issue this school is mostly ok

Great school, top notch education. Teachers very involved. Staff are doing everything they can to make the experience a good one. Any issues are usually a student problem and thus the parents need to be more involved.

Ms. Montgomery is the best teacher in the whole school and I think that frost is super cool.

Frost Middle School has been a fun place to learn overall. I have made many friends and grown over the years. the construction has caused some problems for me like getting to class on time and getting lost but I figured out my schedule quickly and this is a short term problem. n my two years at frost I have never had a bad teacher. there is a little bit of a clique problem but nothing serious.

Frost has been a great school for both of my children and they made the transition to middle school very easy, even in a pandemic. The teachers are very communicative and supportive. The counselors are the best we have had so far in Fairfax County. I have read some of the other reviews and have to believe they are trolls who have been tainted by the media. This is an outstanding school, and one of the benefits is that it is a smaller middle school in Fairfax.

this is a great school aside the renovations. Lot's of people say bad words though.

We have been most impressed by Frost Middle School. My son’s teachers have been excellent, caring and responsive. Like most excellent schools, the curriculum is challenging, but in our experience the students are equipped with what they need to succeed, particularly during these challenging pandemic times. Highly recommend! It will be even better once the pandemic passes and the school renovations have been completed.

Principal Harris' approach to leadership is something that all principals should follow and look up to. This school has an effective approach to homework, with homework that tests their skills with logical reasoning, background knowledge, etc. Frost's teachers promote a love for teaching and learning, as well as being strong communicators, focusing on collaboration, having adaptability as well as a form of respect and kindness, and listen to their students if they are in need for help. Principal Harris' quote: "Work hard, be nice, and widen your circle, we are one Frost" develops a strong character in it's students. I highly recommend this school.

Terrible woke administrators, school board, principal, and teachers. Fairfax county public schools hates America from the school board on down. Every non-minority is presumed guilty of racism. Another review on Woodson HS called it "conservative" which is an absolute joke. They had a BLM logo painted in front of the school and Frost had principal-led protests!Get your kids out of public schools!

Negative reviews can sometimes be left by trolls, or one-off bad experiences, but don't let that be a reflection of the entire school. Our experience as a family of three children was very positive as compared to other school districts we came from. The curriculum was above average and there were no incidents so kids had a peaceful and enjoyable two years. The administration was helpful in honoring our requests for accommodations.

I would rate it 10/10, best school I’ve ever been to.

Over all, the school is ok except some activity organization leadership. For example, the Science Olympiad coach pick the students without any tryout or testing.

I went to Frost in 7th grade, and I personally think its a fantastic school! Its clean, the teachers are great, they have a nice range of electives, and for the time I was there, not once had I ever seen even a glance of bullying. I would say the average class size was 30-35 students per teacher, but the teachers still try to keep up good student relationships (and did a pretty good job of it). I was in the "GT program" or whatever they are calling it these days, and they were pretty strict about grades. Overall I love the school and only wish I could've stayed there longer!
