My experience in the school is very mixed, advanced teachers in my opinion are very respectful and nice, but I know a lot of other teachers are very rude and disrespectful, our administrators are overbearingly mean for no reason and is very strict on seventh grade pacifically they usually take the whole grade down for a couple of students which is usually always the same group and blame it on the whole seventh grade. The hygiene in the school is also pretty bad. The food definitely needs an upgrade.

This school is horrible there rats roaches and even a cat running through the cafeteria my milk is constantly spoiled horrible hygiene the smell is horrible but there is a select few teachers that are great but also there is some that are horrible

HORRIBLE THERE ARE FIGHTS EVERYWHERE THERES ROACHES RATS ANYTHING ITS A ZOO IN HERE ITS GROSS!!!!!!! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THE TEACHERS CUSS OUT STUDENTS THE TEACHERS ARE OFF THE BAT DISRESPECTFUL. THE TEACHERS TALK ABOUT STUDENTS PARENTS WHICH IS NOT COOL!!!!! DO NOT RECOMMEND!

it smells so bad in the mornings every day the food is disgusting and it makes me want to puke the bathrooms are disgusting there are rats and roaches everywhere the administrator are so mean for no reason i hate this school so much and we dont have freedom we are stuck inside every. single. day.

I absolutely despise this school. One the school has roaches and rats almost every morning and my daughter has to deal with roaches being on her desk each and every morning, the bathrooms are way to against code its to nasty and not to mention the extremely rude ladies' at the front desk.

This school is by far thee most unorganized unproductive & unmotivated I’ve ever came across my 37 years of life it started from day one too open house was a natural disaster and nothing has been productive since it’s so sad and alarming to see the teachers walking around with attitudes as I go to check my son out me and another parent looked at one another in disbelief because it’s so obvious I just pray they go back to virtual

Zero had to take my kid out for the violence being done to them u want ur kid to be suicidal and harmed this will do it putting them here at the mini projects this school is horrible

My son has been bullied SEVERAL times. Kids calling him fat and other kids sexually harassing him. His teacher not being supportive of him. She would always have something negative to say about him. All of his other teachers had nothing but nice things to say about his behavior and that he is making every effort to do well in class. I didn't get that from his homeroom teacher. From day one she never liked my son. When brought to the administrations attention about my son being bullied or him being sexual harassed nothing was ever done to the other students. I have no faith in the school.

The teachers are encouraging and the principals are wonderful!! My daughter has excelled as a sixth grader. We disregarded the initial reviews of the school and met with her teachers and the principal at the beginning of the school year. We found that the challenges are not with the staff but the lack of parental involvement.

i will be glad to help bcms win $5,000. my son is in 6th grade and for the first time since he has started school this is the smoothiest academic year he has ( i would say WE HAVE) ever had so far. the teachers are just amazing and i truly appreciate the fact that they are FAIR and DEVOTED to the students. i love bcms. i love the teachers. i love the staff. i love the principal. i know he is retiring. we will miss him a lot. hopefully the new one will be just as fine. parents remember it all stars at home. teachers can not do it all alone.

Bear Creek Middle School does not help students in any way. Sometimes they pass your child just because they dont wont your child in the class. They punish your child for no reason. I rate this school a 1 star.

I currently have 3 children enrolled in Bear Creek Middle School and I'm proud when I say it. I don't drop my kids off at the school house door and wait for them to return home and tell me whats going on at the school. I'm an involved parent. I'm a PTA member, I'm a band parent, a pare volunteer, and mostly I'm a "I just popped up here to see what ya'll are doing" type of parent. Is the school perfect? No. Does the principal care? Yes. Do the teachers care? Yes. And most importantly are they skilled and credential to teach what it is that they are teaching? Yes. Every situation is what you make of it. If you send your child to Bear Creek and you have set in your mind that nothing will stop him/her from becoming all the life and God has called them to be than you will have an experience as remarkable as mine. If you drop them off and let the chips fall where they may then your experience will not be as pleasant .

Student(7th) I am a current student of BCMS. It may not be the best school but it is not the worst. The teachers take on the roll as parents and the students isn't gang-bangers. Most of the students find this activity "ratched" and lame. Bcms. Is also working to improve itself. The students scores are improving, bcms is making more family activites an trips at the school. Also bCMS music department has had multiple visits from college directors who beggeed to watch us play and we have been invited to many parades, colleges, and pep ralleys! Just because BCMS is filled with africain-americans doesn't mean we have little potentail... we have to be coaxed to get there. 100's of great writers, muscians, singers, readers,cheerleaders,dancers, and ect start off right here in Bcms. Know what's really going on at Bcms. The south is as good as the north. It just depends on who is viewing the idea.
