The teachers are wonderful, and they do a great job of customizing the curriculum to fit the needs of each child. They keep parents involved and up-to-speed on what they are doing in their classrooms, and what the children should be working on at home. I would highly recommend this school district.

The staff at Levi Leonard and TRIS are great. All three of my sons have gotten a great education there. The teachers have been wonderful.

Evansville School Is horrible. The staff are bullies, and they allow other children to be bullies. My children have had horrible experiences at this school. They need all new staff, and to have a real anit-bullying program, not just posters and signs you put up to make it look like the school cares.

The school is a "step" up from elementary. It is "known" that the better students get the better teachers (sad but true). The school system is all "words" an no actions. They do not foster diverse students/different cultures (I was told that a student of diverse nature has a higher risk of failing/requiring special education due to bullying - which the school does NOTHING about). There are options - it's called open enrollment and private school.

If your child has special needs, this is not the school for them. I feel my child was treated more like an animal than a human. Carried by his hands and feet, put in a room with the door held shut. The room reminded me of kennels i have boarded my dogs at. At least my dogs had toys and a bed to lay on, not just a cold concrete floor. The worst person of all to deal with was the principal, completely uncaring. How do I know the school was at fault, we moved away a year ago and magically my son is better. my childs new school shows me how teachers,the special ed department and Principals are suppose to treat students. This was a nightmare school and I'm glad we're gone.
