    my son has thrived in this school. the teachers and especially the pricipal have worked very hard in turning this school around . it is a safe and happy place for kids to come and learn . we were at cutten elementary , we had a male teacher Mr. Morse , who only terrified his students . My son didnt learn anything in that environment . we were temporarily placed in alice birney waiting to be put in washington . But we quikly fell in love with the peacefull yet rigorous learning learning environmnet . THANK you alice birney and Mrs. hughes for helping my son relearn what he had missed the previous year in a school taught by a bully teacher

    This school should be avoided at all costs!!!! Vulgar students and rude staff. The curriculum is very poor and teaches nothing that my 2nd grader did not already know.
