Community oriented. Hands on learning. Fun. Rigorous curriculum. My two children now 6 and 8 are very happy at The Ability School.

Great experience. Daughter enjoyed her activities and learned so much within just a few weeks. Admissions process smooth and promptly. Wish they offered lunch but overall, still a good experience.

I didn’t know what to expect, since I was last in school over 20 years ago, but my expectations have been pleasantly exceeded. My son is able to read and write at such a young age and I believe that opens up endless possibilities going forward.

I attending this school from K till 4th grade, this school set me back and it was not until I was transferred into NJ public school that I finally received the education I needed. I can’t help but to look back and think of how much further I would be in life if I had had a solid education from the start.

Excellent. I've enjoyed seeing my daughter's reading grow in leaps and bounds. She is also performing well in other subjects and is growing up aware of her own feelings and that of others.

I highly recommend Ability School for any family who wants their child to have a truly personalized education. Our students gain tools that they need to learn any subject and walk away with a true love for learning. I can not say enough about how wonderful our early reading program is and the methods used to teach our students math. I am proud to work here and to have a child enrolled in the program.

I have sent both my children to the Ability School. I could see immediate results within weeks of sending them there. Most notable was an immediate love and desire to read. Whenever my child has run into any difficulty in study, the teachers are attentive and caring enough to make sure that the difficulty was swiftly and completely handled. My kids love learning and can use what they learn in everyday life. They are not just passing exams to earn a diploma.

I love that each kid gets an individualized curriculum. Also, I love that my son is known by students throughout the school, even grades that are much higher than his. It makes him feel like a home a way from home. The teachers give certificates each week for levels that have been reached, it teaches the children to celebrate every small success! And reminds them that they are constantly improving.

I started my daughter in the Ability School at three years old. She is now six and a half, and is reading, writing, and doing math at a second grade level. I love how the children each have an individual program and go at their own pace. They learn how to be independent learners, and the results are 100% comprehension. The teachers and staff are fully trained and able to handle any situation that comes up with my daughter, academic or social. They always have a solution and it simply gets handled! Being the parent of an Ability School student completely brings me peace of mind that my daughter will be able to excel in life and learn anything. JH

We enrolled our son here after being frustrated with his progress in a public school. Within two weeks he was reading and is now doing math. He wants to go to school everyday, where at his prior school he wanted to stay home everyday. They make learning fun for the student and make all feel like a family.

I have two sons attending tihs school and at 5 years old they were both at a second grade level in reading and mathematics. One is now 14 and the other is almost 6. The school's teaching philosophy is rooted in ensuring that the children understand 100% of what is being taught. I am unware of any program that does this and, having been exposed to this type of instruction, I am quite frankly petrified of having to place them in another program to complete high school. The teachers work with the children at their own pace and are committed to the progress of each and every child.

My three children have attended Ability School since the beginning of their education. One is now 11, one is 8 and the other is 4. The school provides a self paced learning environment that is focused on a balance of theory and application and a 100% understanding of what is studied. Basically, the school teaches a student how to learn for life! The reading program is intense, to say the least, and all of my children have excelled in this environment. I am happy to say that they are getting a strong foundation for their future education and that I wouldn't consider any other program at this point for my children. -JS

i am an 8th grader at the ability school. I have been going there since I was 4 years old. The Abilty school offers a quality education that will help your child in anything he or she would ever want to learn. Every day is great, I do not remember a day where I actually disliked school. They have an individualized program where students can learn at their own pace. To prove just how good this school is, I will list some of my high school acceptances, Bergen Cahtolic HS Paramus Catholic HS St Peter's Prep Xavier HS NYC La Salle Academy NYC Chaminade HS and I am waiting the response from Bergen County Academies, who i recently had an interview with
