Our children have been attending St John’s for the past 6 years and we couldn’t be happier. The teachers are wonderful and the administration goes above and beyond to ensure that our kids succeed. We love the small size of the school and all the benefits that come along with it. We’re so grateful to have found this little gem!

Our 3 kids have been at St. John for the past 8 years and we really couldn't be happier. The academics, faith, morals, extra-curricular activities, school spirit, and camaraderie are top notch. St. John truly feels like a family; a place where all are welcome, included, and supported. The highly qualified and talented teachers and staff show up for our kids for all the right reasons, deferring a higher salary in the public system for this faith-based mission with integrity and passion. We are SO grateful to attend St. John and would not send our children anywhere else.

We have been in the Saint John School Community for 15 years. The small school environment and and amazing community are priceless. The academics are great and the faith based atmosphere help reinforce the values we teach at home. I love that my kids know so many families in the community and always feel so comfortable. We will have so many positive memories when we leave Saint John School.

Saint John is a wonderful community full of families, educators and staff who care passionately about both education and faith formation. It offers a beautiful campus and an ideal size with two classes per grade, from preschool through middle school.

It was tempting to send our kids to the local (top-rated!) public elementary schools and not incur tuition fees, but a Catholic education is important to us, so we chose SJS several years ago when our oldest was starting kindergarten - and we are so thankful that we did! The faith-based community has been very nurturing for our children, and the academic rigor has been well-balanced. Academically my children are advancing more than their neighborhood friends in our public school, plus they are constantly growing in their Catholic faith and their sense of moral responsibility. The faculty and staff make a point of knowing and looking out for all of the students. The admin is very tuned into the community and always looking for growth opportunities. We are so thankful that we chose to attend SJS - it is truly one of the best investments we have ever made.

We love the education and community experiences our children have at St John. We transferred from a local public school - the rigor of the curriculum and behavioral expectations set at St John are leaps and bounds ahead of the experience at the public school. I love the connection the children have across all the grades. All the teachers, staff and administrators welcome our children daily with warm smiles. In the event of bullying / bad behavior that is part of middle school years - I have appreciated the schools approach by messaging all the students and parents to ensure everyone has the same understanding and expectations of how to treat classmates and others. Staff and teachers are prompt in their responses and communicate upcoming events, homework, etc effectively.

St. John is not only a wonderful environment for learning and growing academically, it provides a supportive and nurturing environment for spiritual growth as well. The faculty and staff have become part of our family and our entire family benefits tremendously from the love and care provided to our children daily!

What I would say about this school is it is nice and “comfortable.” The kids are well rounded and have good values, however they don’t really seem to excel at much and are fine with status quo. My kids are bright and weren’t challenged at all. We ended up pulling them due to covid but wont be going back. Also- they switched their preschool from play-based to “academic” which was a total mistake. The are treating the preschoolers like mini kindergarteners (which they aren’t) and only have 5 day a week/full day preschool and pre-k. My poor 3 year old was miserable- teachers were not nurturing and didnt seem to even want to be there!

Our kids all ended up in advance math due to the GREAT math skill sets that were taught at STJ. I loved the community love and respect from the families and we had 10 years at STJ.

Truly couldn't be happier. The school offers a balanced, faith based education that focuses on the whole child. The families are overall wonderful, with most looking for the same thing we were - an inclusive, loving environment where the Teachers and Administration CARE. I have met lifelong friends, and am so grateful to what this school has brought to our family.

Provides a strong combination of both character as well as academics. We have sent 2 children through the school and loved the attention to the whole child. They learned things like shaking hands while looking someone in the eye and how important it is to give back to community. Love that they still have a Christmas program since that's been removed from Public school.

Our children began their introduction to elementary education as kindergarteners at Saint John School and it didn’t take long for us to fall in love with this faith-based, academic community of educators and families. When you enter the school, there is a sign that reads, “Be it known to all who enter here that Christ is the reason for this school”. This message always makes me smile when I read it, as it is completely evident by spending only a few minutes on campus that Christ IS the reason for this school. The Catholic principals and academic rigor provide the foundation upon which this school is built. Additionally, Saint John School partners with parents and families in a way that is unprecedented in elementary schools today. Parents are invited to participate in their children’s education through multiple volunteer opportunities in and out of the classroom. In an effort to support the entire growth, development, and success, of each individual child, parents remain a constant partner of both teachers and administrators. We continue to be impressed with the teachers who challenge and support our children, the administration who are committed to seek ways to improve the school, and the families that continue to donate their time and money to help make their vision a reality. Saint John really has a very special and unique community who feel more like family to us than friends. We are confident that being a part of this school has put our children on a different trajectory than if they had attended any other elementary school. Saint John School will always have a very special place in our heart.

Our boys have attended St John's for the last 6 and 3 years and overall love it there (they don't love the early start time). Academics are high and we love the teachers we have had. St John's is a great place for children to go to school.

Our girls love going to school, which is a big change from the public school. The teachers care and work to see that their students succeed. We have been very pleased and enjoy our interactions with the other parents.

The small community enables the parents to have a voice. Great leadership skills are taught. There are many volunteering opportunities for parents giving the option to see what is going on during the day. The staff is kind and attentive. Character building is important on this campus. Curriculum is competitive. My children love it here.

Saint John School is a wonderful Catholic school environment. The school provides a rigorous academic program while partnering with parents to develop individuals of strong faith and character who provide service to those in need. The administration has always had an open door policy. Parents are encouraged to meet face-to-face to discuss pertinent issues and resolve differences. Because this site does not allow response to anonymous, individual comments and concerns, it is important that parents meet with the administration to be sure their student's need are being addressed.

Teachers do not help children with different needs and give them excessive amounts of homework that is not related to what they are learning

This is a school with deplorable education and awful teachers. Religion is a subject that interrupts learning excessively from subjects that could help children exceed. In addition to learning, this school believes that a student should study less in school and do more homework which leads to the children in this school to be more stressed than ussual and cry themselves to sleep every single night! This school does not have updated technology and uses old computers and technology. The school uses a way of controlling children with a yellow sheet of paper called "slips" which deduct points from a child's behavior and the worst part is that they can't add points to their behavior grade even if they act in an amazing manor in addiction to this pathetic form of punishement, this "slip" is given for things like a not tucked in shirt or if the student doesn't have a belt. If you want your child to not grow with ignorance and low self esteem, I wouldn't enroll him into this school. From,A very dissapointed parent With 3 children enrolled in this school
