Amazing. My daughter was lucky enough to enjoy three amazing years at the magical Oasis.

My daughter has attended Oasis Organic School the past two years. She adores Oasis, Maria and the assistant teachers. So much so, that she never wants to leave...until she is a grown up. The review above must be taken with a grain of salt. I am so happy the child who was asked to leave, a week before the school year ended, is thriving at his new school! Truly I am. My daughter was one of the only kids he was kind to. I liked him a lot too, but he kicked me a couple times, for no apparent reason. I felt that Maria was incredibly patient and understanding to allow him to stay the majority of the year. Enough said about that. This school is one of the last great play based schools in existence. It is very democratic. Oasis teaches children to respect each other, practice kindness and compassion, trust their natural skills, build upon their curiosities, learn in an organic setting, in a safe, loving space. The parents are very involved (depending on the yr). They're supportive, educated, and become a family. As a single mother, I very much appreciate the community of families who apply to enroll in Oasis. It is a gem of a school, unique, and loved by alumni, parents & students.

My daughter is in her third year at Oasis. The nature based environment is gentle, imaginative, and safe. The children are encouraged to be self expressive through their play which results in great character building. Maria's own parental wisdom is reflected through her interactions with the children. She is both patient and kind. Oasis is a very special school and I feel so grateful that we get to attend.

I thought this school was great, nurturing, caring teacher, nice environment, but it turned out to be not so. We were labeled, us parents and our son, and Maria assumed alot about our family and about our son, also about other families and their children without finding out the facts. We are very disappointed with our experience, I only wish I had realized this earlier in the year so we could have switched schools. Our son's interest of going to Oasis decreased, but I trusted Maria and what she does at school. Our son is now at a wonderful school where he is flourishing in every way. He looks forward to going to school, has made a lot of friends and is just loving it. The teachers are warm, honest and just wonderful with all the kids. I had also recommended Oasis to 3 friends of mine, all had negative experiences at their first meeting with Maria and chose another school. I wish I had seen the school's true colors before we enrolled. If you are thinking of enrolling at Oasis, just know this school is not accepting of everyone. Maria is incapable of working with all personalities of children even though she has been a teacher for a very long time. It is not organic in that sense.
