We are so happy with our experience at ICGS. My daughter has learned respect, confidence and faith on top of an excellent education. The staff and administration truly care about each child and can focus on the individual needs of each child. We are so happy we made the choice to send out daughter to IC.

Here are a few reasons we love ICGS for our kids: -Faith based learning: Prayer several times each day and Mass weekly -Education that meets every student where they are at. Each grade is tested yearly and separated into different math and reading groups based on ability. The school Math Specialist oversees curriculum and testing for the entire school Pre-School-8th Grade. The Reading Specialist works with students in 1st-8th grades.-Discipline: Students learn self discipline through a strict uniform and behavior code. The school also teaches students discipline in regards to developing independent learners through the formation of study habits and time management skills.-Caring and attentive staff. So many wonderful teachers and staff members who help guide our children each day. -A welcoming community of parents with so many opportunities for engagement with each other and the school through socialization, volunteering and sharing faith.

ICGS is a family. You feel welcomed from day one. The teachers are excellent and committed to the education and well being of the kids. My children are challenged academically and individually as a person.

The ICGS community is a warm and welcoming one and the education is top notch and advanced. We transferred from another private school at the same time that a friend transferred from a local public school. Both of children received assistance and tutoring during and after school to help them "catch-up" to the rest of their peers. ICGS offers support whether your child is advanced or needs a little help. My son regularly sees the school's reading specialist. My son has simply blossomed at this school and my daughter has thrived as well. The Kindergarten reading program is just amazing. I'm blown away by the things my daughter has learned and I see the solid educational foundation that is being set.We also had a family emergency and were overwhelmed by the support and care we received from the ICGS families. You would have thought we had been at the school for 5 years when we had been there barely a year.ICGS not only provides a top notch education, but they nurture the soul and help us parents raise intelligent, kind, well-mannered children.

We have three children at IC Grade School and could not be happier with our overall experience. Each of our children have different educational needs and the school has met, if not exceeded our expectations for all of them. It is also very obvious to us that they are gaining a vital foundation to make them good, religious people with strong values to help them grow up in a world that is not always so great. We thank you IC for making our children the best that they can be.

ICGS was the best investment we have ever made. Along with excellent academics, our 3 children received an excellent faith foundation with an emphasis on Catholic leadership. They left the school with a solid sense of confidence along with a sense of their responsibility to make our world a better place. Each of them were well prepared in self-discipline and time management. As a result they have excelled in high school in the classroom, in athletics, and in extracurricular activities. This foundation was instrumental in providing them with excellent choices for college. We can't recommend this school highly enough.

Immaculate Conception Grade school competes with another Catholic Grade School, a Christian Grade school, a Lutheran Grade School and an excellent suburban, DuPage county public school district, all in the same town and ICGS is usually full or maxed-out with enrollment. There are numerous reasons for this. Great pastoral and principal leadership, devoted teachers, challenging academics, caring environment, exciting sports programs, state of the art facilities in a historic building. If you send your child here and don't get involved, you're really missing the boat. I have 4 children who graduated from ICGS who have a strong moral fiber, sound academic background and enjoy all athletics. submitted by Ted Vatch
