I am writing this review to express my severe disappointment with macarthur middle schoo. As a current student, I feel compelled to share my experiences, which have been overwhelmingly negative.First and foremost, the teaching quality at this school is dismal. Instructors often fail to engage students or offer meaningful support, and many lessons feel like an endless lecture of irrelevant information. When students struggle, teachers provide little to no help, merely offering a vague set of rules without any practical guidance. It’s infuriating to see the same problems rehashed without any real explanation or assistance.Bullying is another serious issue here. It is utterly disappointing to witness the rampant disrespect among students. Unfortunately, when bullying incidents occur, the response from teachers and administration is lackluster at best. In my personal experience, I have faced bullying multiple times, only for the teachers and vice principal to side with the bully rather than support the victim. This creates a toxic environment where students feel unsafe and unprotected.Additionally, the cafeteria food leaves much to be desired, with some items being almost rock-hard and inedible. A nutritious meal is essential for students, and it’s disheartening to see such a lack of care in this area.Lastly, the grading system at macarthur middle schoo is absurdly inefficient. It’s like trying to hit a moving target; assignments often take an eternity to be graded, making it feel as though getting feedback is nearly impossible. The chances of receiving timely grades are so slim that the process feels more like finding a million dollars than an educational institution fulfilling its duty.Overall, I cannot recommend macarthur middle schoo with the way things are currently. It is essential for schools to foster a supportive, respectful, and engaging environment for students, and this school unfortunately misses the mark on all fronts. I sincerely hope for positive changes in the future, but as it stands, my experience here has been far from satisfactory.

Mr. Savage bullies the teachers and uses memos(to the Superintendent) as a way of intimidation. He is very inconsistent with discipline and will tell students that they are suspended but they are back in school the next day. Despite a lack of a STRONG leader the teachers do an outstanding job. If I were a parent and could afford it. I would send my child to a Private School before I would send them to MacArthur! The school motto is One Team One Mission but it really is One Team HIS MISSION!

Love MacArthur Middle School, the teachers and principal are great. They have to make tough decisions but always try to get the job done. My child did well there but often talked about other children misbehaving and causing disruptions. Mr. Savage and his team would take care of the students which makes me feel safe. The school could improve in many areas and parents should help the school not only criticize.

I have two children attending MacArthur Middle School and am happy to say it has seen great changes. The principal has made it a positive and safe environment. The teachers and staff are committed to the children's education and embrace the same positive attitude. The only thing this school needs, in my opinion, is more parent involvement. I would encourage parents to be involved in your child's education and partner up with the teachers and staff at MacArthur to ensure your child is getting what they need and are on the right path.

I am currently attending this school and MacArthur middle school is a safe environment for your children to be in the Principal makes all students feel safe the school has fun art classes the teachers make the kids feel safe and the kids feel like that want to go back the teachers have fun with us and make us laugh we feel comfortable with them and when we have a problem we feel like we can talk to them about it over all its a great school
