That special education department was extremely combative and hostile. Horrible. My child uses a Medicaid device, but this group had the gall to switch and use their own choice of a different device they wanted! Needless to say, we lodged complaints against them, so be prepared from Day One if you risk sending your child here. We are so relieved to have left this school, and to have my child in a supportive environment so he can use his own Medicaid device that is best suited for his needs. This special ed department in Ellington is what I would call HORRIBLE.
