This district has been nothing but amazing. We moved from the Springdale district where my children were bullied everyday to Elkins school district. We have not had any problems here at all. The staff is great and keeps you well informed. They know what they're doing here. It's nice being in a tight knit community where the kids can grow up together.

Elkins school has been nothing but trouble. So thankful to be leaving this district! I would never leave my children with these people.

This school is terrible the my daughter transferred from a school in Texas and was doing great and was excited to go to school everyday. But since we moved here, she is miserable and extremely intimidated by her teacher and other staff and students. The staff is extremely rude and seem to only care about getting money and invading the students families privacy. They sent notes home that are out of line and rudely worded. Also the staff seems more interested in trying to dig up the latest gossip on the parents. If a child has problems and is struggling with something, instead of spending a few extra minutes to help, the child is just cast to the side. Also the school lunches are absolutely horrific my daughter could not even eat the food and would come home starving and she has also been bullied by older students inches from teachers and staff who do nothing. We are now moving out of this school district. Please think very hard about finding a different school district for your child, there are many great schools in north west Arkansas, unfortunately this isn't one of them.

Worst experience ever. Our Child with documented history of asthma issues. Got bronchitis and missed more than allotted days for sickness... Mr principal comes out in a cop car to "check on our child" uh hello pick up the phone !! I had all his hospital records and everything no apologies nothing!! If you're considering buying in this school district. RUN!!! Mom in elkins.
