This school has done amazing with my austim son. I wouldn't send him to no other school because of how much this school has helped him and understood what he needs.

10/10 I absolutely love this school and its staff. Every teacher I've worked with has been kind and welcoming and seems to be doing the best they can for the students. It does break my heart to read negative reviews, as I have never experienced any negative situations myself. The staff are all encouraging and easy to communicate with. I also appreciate the effective PTA at the school and the support they provide to the staff and students. The PTA also works to put on great events for the school. The school is clean and well maintained, inside and out. We've had a great start at this school for my child and I hope the coming years continue in the same way.

Taking my child out of this school due to the schools lack of handling a situation. My child has been kicked and punched repeatedly and the student was only sent to the office. My son never hit back most of the time he was stunned that it happened. The school called my child needy after I demanded that something changes to keep my child safe and their plan still didn’t work. They make excuses and try to minimize the situation saying things like boys play rough.

I grew up in Elkhorn. I know many of the teachers as friends and have heard only the best about it. Very courteous and nice people. I feel happy and proud to have my children go there. :)

The school is good. My son has special needs, and he in a regular classroom with redular kids. So far, I am very pleased from the work the teachers did this year. This school supports teamwork including the parents, the aids, and the principle. There is open communication. If the child has issues the teachers are there for him. The most important is the parent to be involved and to be part of the school team. There is alot of voluntiring service around the school and if you want your child to be well cared for become a part of their team. Overall I will say this school is excellent!

So far I am very disappointed in this school. Discipline seems to be excessive and kids are not allowed to "be kids". The school is very quick to point out the negatives in your child, but brings nothing to the table on coming up with a game plan to achieve success. Their seems to be no positive reinforcement to promote or reward good behavior. Both my husband and I have considered pulling our child out of this school, but are afraid that may be traumatizing to up root her in the middle of the school year.
