It’s a smaller school but honestly my son had a great experience in her Kindergarten here!

So far we love Blaney. The principal is wonderful and really cares about each and every student and makes a point to communicate with all parents on a regular basis.

Blaney is a simple school. No after school activities for the most part. Unless its with the Boys and Girls Club or Archery. They are also going through a principal change this year.

Kindergarten was a great success!! My daughter came home excited daily as she shared with me all the new things she learned about Math, Science, Music, compound words, etc. My daugher and I loved her teachers, Mrs. Goff and Mrs. McAvoy. She is definitely looking forward to starting 1st grade!!!

I have been a Blaney parent for 3 years both my children and I love the school, the teachers and the faculty, I love how encouraging all the staff are to the children and how they praise their good behavior, I have been in class and love how engaging the teachers are with students and how I can come sit down in class with my child if her and/or I dont understand something so I can see how the teacher teaches, there is open communication with the parents, and if there is a worry about your children's performance the teacher will inform you that same day, I love the fact that Mrs Carter welcomes ''her'' kids with a big good morning and smile, every morning even when it's freezing outside, and the PTA is always great and very involved and trying to get parents involve too,I would not change this school for anything I am happy and my girls are happy to attend there. I thank Blaney teachers Mrs. Dunlap, Mrs. McKay, Mrs, Woodberry, Mrs. Nelson, Mrs. Mohr and Mrs. DiBiase also music, science, P.E. art, computer class teachers for all my girls know which they impress me everytime because they learn things I didn't know at their age.

I wish I could give it less than 1 star but it won't let me. This is one of the worst schools I have ever had my kid in or researched. The only good thing is they have a group where kids can meet for lunch for loss of a family member, military kids, etc. The staff are so rude. The teachers do not care about their students. The principal has a don't care attitude and it shows in the way the staff interacts with both the children and the parents. I am usually an easy going super nice person but this school has me angry every time I go up there because of their lack of concern. I went to pick up my child and she was told to go to the wrong place and no one could locate her even though she was next to one of the teachers. They have zero accountability for their actions! This school needs a major overhaul. it is sad they get more funding then most states and are so behind on everything. I think it has everything with the staff that works there! Please find another place for your child for the sake of your and his/her well being. Mrs. Barkley!

My daughter has been here 2 years and we are very pleased. She has loved both of her teachers and is doing beautifully. I am impressed with how much she is learning and all of the different activities the students do.
