My kids loved this school, and I liked it too, I miss the fact that this school has a dual language program for the kids and the teachers were very passionate and caring with my kids! I’ve talked with other moms across El Paso & I believe this is a great school!!

We have been at this school for almost 3 years now, from 1st to 3rd grade. The teachers are awesome and enthusiastic, and the rest of the staff is amazing, and most are bilingual, to accomodate the large hispanic population. the biggest issue i have with this school is that the science teacher left at the beginning of the year, and has not been replaced. they still learn science in their classroom, but arent able to do work in the science lab. they have a wonderful music program, the phys ed coaches are awesome, and the facilities are well taken care of. I couldnt ask for a better experience. the area is somewhat low income, but you wouldn't guess that from walking around the school. We have never had any problems here. The classes range from 15-20 students on average, with bilingual helpers in the younger grades. Overall, its a great school with people who truly care about my child's education.

My children attended this school for the year of 2012 to 2013 and was the worst school my children have been to. So many problems throughout the school year, where do I begin? When I first met the teacher she could not tell me what to expect or what my child would learn. Instead remained silent and finally ending that awkward moment with telling her about my child. Later on that year I asked the teacher if I could sit in class to observe my child ideal question for a concerned parent. She then told me that the Principal did not like the parents sitting in because it disrupts the children. Being a frequent sit in and volunteer at my child's other school I asked the principal directly and her reply was that she didn't mind just ask the teacher to make an appointmen. So after being lied to I was not very happy with this school. I wish it ended there but it didn't . I had several problems with the school and teacher because a parent is always concerned with their child's education but because I made so much commotion over my childs education my child paid for it. I do not recommend this school at all.

We have only been at this school a short time, but it is a bust compared to other schools we have dealt with. There is a huge lack of security. I have seen better playgrounds at daycare centers. Pick up and drop off is unorganized. Parent participation is low. There are no art programs. Very few music programs only allowed for older students. No before or after school programs available. Some teachers are great, others seem to be only following the others. Gym class everyday needs to be replaced with at least one music class and one art class at least once a week for every student. Every student get one computer class once a month, that is also far too little.
