Overall we have been very happy with Oak Point. The teachers are committed and engaged. Our experience has shown they individualize the materials to each child's needs whenever possible. The school is built on the pillars of Be Kind. Be Safe. Be Responsible. This has led to growth in my children's character, self-esteem, and feeling part of a community. As a parent of a child with special needs, I have found the special education department to take a team approach with the goal of academic independence, increased academic success and overall well-being. Our children have thrived there and are excited to go to school every day!

My two children are have had excellent teachers each year at Oak Point Elementary.

Oak Point is now solely an elementary school (Spanish Immersion shares the building). While it is a large school, it is divided into very nice, comfortable atriums that the children get to know quickly and are at home in. We were hesitant at first when we were moved to the school due to redistricting, but we have been absolutely thrilled with the quality of education our children have received. The teachers and the principal are very committed to the school and the kids. There is a wonderful group of parents who are also very committed to the school. All in all, Oak Point is a great school!
