I’m going into eight grade soon, and I have nightmares often about it. I’ve been severely traumatized by the bullying and ablismal teaching at the school. I don’t want to talk about it too much, but if you have a lgbtq, non conformist, or disabled kid, PLEASE DONT SEND THEM HERE!!! It is hell on earth!!!

This is the worst school on the whole planet, there are at least 3 physical altercations per day. The school is yes very racially diverse but the school is terrible to LGBTQ+ students. As a bi student the amount of times I have gotten jumped or slurred at in the hall way has been insane. And the lack of consequences is absolutely mind boggling. This school is so overwhelmed too with over 2,000 students. I would not go to this school ever again and don’t recommend it one bit.

All the teachers my kid has had are great. Love this school.

My first experience of this school was a nightmare. The students were problematic and the teachers weren’t much better. My daughter even switched out of a class because of a teacher. But later on, the school got a bit better. Things cooled down a bit the following year, and I worked at the school as well to see first hand how things were at the school. But overall, the school did do a good job of it’s curricular programs. They offer good classes like AVID and other extra classes that you can choose from. In the end though, this school is okay.

I love how the teachers and staff at this school help kids make new friends while teaching them to be more independent. The teachers push the kids to their maximum potential without sparing school and community involvement. The parents in our district expect and demand high-quality education. Unlike some other districts, we also expect high-quality people. If you want your child to develop depth of character, and receive stellar academics, this school is right for you.
