Hi there! So I am a former student, and I would like to say that the only thing this town has going for it, is its safety and beauty. When I was a student there I was heavily bullied for being an outsider and disinclined in the athletic realm. This bullying was brought upon me by both faculty and students. Very little to absolutely nothing was done about this. For context, this bullying started when I was six years old and continued until I left at 15. Don’t be fooled by the good ratings, they have in the past on other websites deleted ratings they saw as “ Negative”. The staff, once more, are very biased, and will let athletes and local kids get away with just about anything, whereas, if an unpopular kid does it, they will be heavily scrutinized. When I was a student there, I remember the staff quite literally cornered me and screamed at me calling me a monster for putting on deodorant that had a heavy scent after gym class. However, when popular kids deliberately broke rules that were laid out, such as being on their phone or skipping class, or even bullying other students in front of the teachers, almost nothing was ever done. They definitely focus on their mediocre sports teams a lot more then they focus on their academics. They do almost nothing to help people with mental disabilities there, seeing as I once saw a teacher scream at my autistic friend for not doing his homework, when she just gave everyone else who didn’t do it a zero and said nothing. Going to this school has put me several years behind in academics, and made it a big struggle for me when I moved to Gulfport Mississippi. The bullying and miss treatment from staff that I had to endure has caused me to have to go to intensive therapy upon my removal from the school. Please do not send your kid there no matter what you hear about that place, take it from a former student, Williamson county or even the surrounding schools are a lot better.

School is too focused on sports and not academics. Faculty is very biased toward the athletes. Community is very supportive of the school, but has a very closed mindset toward "outsiders" -bulling is a problem . AP and duel enrollment are almost non-existent with the exception of agriculture. On the upside, it is a very safe environment and the student to teacher ratio is small.

At the middle and high school levels, this school focuses only on its small town sports, and does not prepare students academically. Favors are given to athletes, and some teachers join students to watch sports film during class instead of instructing. The atmosphere is very closed and biased toward locals. The 8 rating is misleading because it includes lower grades. Look at the high school breakdown, and you will see a better reflection.
