I have two children, a 1st grader and a preschooler. They have learned a lot of wonderful things in their short time there. My first graders teacher is really supportive of her and recognizes her strengths and weaknesses. My preschoolers teachers have been wonderful with her and extremely patient while addressing toileting issues she started having. Sometimes communication feels a bit short, but with all the activities they have going on I'm sure its hard to reach everyone. It also goes both ways, its hard to keep on top as the parent of all the messages, emails and handouts, but I think the teachers do a good job of trying to relay the information the best they can.

I have had horrible experience with this school. Bullying is handled poorly. Communication with parents if very poor. I have extended list of problems with this school.

Our two children adored their time at EVES. They were so happy and felt so at home with teachers who loved them like they were their own children. Our children honed their reading, research and inquiry skills so that they were truly following their personal passions. We were astonished at their Exhibition projects and always were stunned by how much elementary school children taught us at the end-of-the-year 5th grade PYP exhibition. Our children were thoroughly engaged in their learning and challenged to learn at the most rigorous levels. They loved that they spent half of their day learning in Spanish - what a gift to help them become bilingual. We absolutely cherish their EVES education. It is the foundation of their academic lives. When compared to peers who attended a variety of other public and private schools, our daughters constantly state how grateful they are that they attended EVEs, as they believe they have superior academic skills and a fundamental understanding of the importance of concepts like integrity, compassion, courage, open-mindedness, being principled, the power of knowledge and the value of passionate inquiry. We LOVE EVES. What a very special school with the most talented, profesional, caring teachers.

The principal is amazing. The IB program is perfect for my daughter. The teachers are really helpful and communicative. Love the extra curricular activities.

The teachers at this school are fantastic and we love the dual language program at this school. My children are learning a lot of Spanish but it is not taking away from their core curriculum. We have had no issues with or know anyone who have issues with bullying at this school. My son really enjoys attending EVE. I think the principal (Mrs. Lammer's) is doing a good job at running the school but I gave her 2 stars because she doesn't return parent phone calls. This is a source of frustration from quite a few parents I've spoken with and have experienced personally.

I have one child who attends Eagle Valley Elementary. The school recently became an IB World School - which was a tremendous amount of work for the principal and teachers. IB philosophy is incorporated in every aspect of their learning and it is such an amazing way to learn. The teachers have been wonderful to work with. My daughter enjoys the atmosphere of this school. I can't wait until they update CSAP testing results for 2011 - EVES made tremendous progress this year!
