    I currently go to Durham Academy Middle School, and it has been amazing! There are excellent teachers, wonderful faculty members and staff, and genuinely nice kids. The school and community is safe and welcoming, so don’t worry if you’re new! For the kids with learning disabilities, there are accommodations and a great support system. There are numerous fun and exciting clubs and affinity groups as well, like arts and crafts, reading, and various sports. The school property itself is breathtaking and incredible, a real masterpiece and a great place for learning. The modernization is notable, with a lot of things online, like homework, tests and grades. DA’s biggest strength is its dedication to inclusion and creating a safe space for everyone, including minorities and LGBTQ+ people. I would 100% recommend this school, if you ever decide to go to or send your kid(s) to a private school in and around Durham.
