I have three children in Selzer School. The oldest one is in sixth grade (the year they start Middle School.) some parents request certain teachers each year, but I have found the entire faculty to be so talented that this is unnecessary. The curriculum is challenging and the students are engaged. I have been offered several lucrative positions that would require me to move, and refused them because of this school.

My Child is in Kindergarten at this school and yes it does have a good name and review. However I still feel that there is something lacking with the overall faculty parent interaction. Recently there was a bout of strep throat prevalent and no one cared to inform the parents till the time some of the children got sick and brought in doctor's notes. The substitue teachers need more supervision as they just blindly follow school policies without keeping in mind weather conditions and take the kids out during lunchtime in inclement weather. My child is prone to getting sick if it is raining or drizzling or very cold in winter months. I fail to understand the logic behind these decisions and dismayed on where is the school senior management to oversee these matters which they might consider trivial
