- Submitted by parent on September 25, 2010My kids love this school! Excellent teachers. Great home/school communication with both teachers and support staff. Friendly, caring students and staff. Very high test scores. The teachers have a knack for reaching out to each and every student and helping them excel in school. The school promotes a very warm, safe, and friendly learning environment for the students. Lots of opportunities for parent involvement. There is a huge grassy playground area with lots of equipment for the students. The Downsville community is also very supportive of the school. Overall, it's a wonderful school to be a part of.
- Submitted by parent on May 02, 2010My two sons attended Downsville Elementary. They were taught by the best teachers in the area. My sons not only learned the curriculum, they learned a sense of community and belonging. Of love, care and friendship. The teachers of Downsville Elementary know the 'art of teaching.' A wonderful learning experience I wish all children could be blessed with.
