lementary School. I am the grandparent of three children enrolled in the school. I am the parent of eight children. Two were enrolled in Lincoln. I go way back 22 years (1992) before the new building was built. Neighbors told me to keep my then small children in parochial school because Lincoln was not a "good" school. The crossing guard told me that one day. Franklin was full, trying to send children to Lincoln and parents didn't want to send them there. A school is as good as its head, the Principal. Today, I see a complete turnaround. The teachers and the principal are doing an excellent job. What is important to me is that my grandchildren enjoy going to school. There is an enthusiasm for learning. Everybody is struggling right now, we don't have private school money right now and I have to say keep up the good work to Lincoln staff and teachers. Thank you so much to Mr. King, my hat's off to you because its a big job that you have with staff, parents, students and the District.

One of my children told me that his teachers hit students in the classroom. The principal is strict about attendance which is great, but is somewhat ignorant about how to keep the children and staff motivated to learn and teach. The curriculum is mediocre and uninteresting. There is not much school pride if any. Art consists of 10-15 minutes a week. "Gym" is 20-30 minutes of running or skipping. A typical ISAT prep factory.
