- Submitted by parent on February 13, 2012In 2011 - 2012 school year, the administration in this district changed dramatically and they decided very late in the year to implement a 1-to-1 computer program. On its face, it is a great idea, but when administrators have placed the implementation of this program ahead of everything else, including curriculum, teacher development, policy writing / implementation & child safety, then it isn't such a great thing. There are a handful of great teachers here, but many that aren't good at all. The curriculum is less rigorous than in past years and there is little to no discipline. There aren't many extra curriculars if your child isn't in sports. I can say the art teacher is amazing and kids definitely love having unfettered access to electronic devices. I used to be happy with this district, but this year has been terrible.
