    My experience with this school is had been a great one! I have three kids that will graduate from Camanche, one with special needs and couldn't be happier!

    I'm disgusted and I can only hope that it is ignorance that is driving this behavior because at least there is hope they will become better educated and correct their attitudes.

    After looking at a home for sale on Zillow.com, I was appalled at the rating for Camanche Middle School. Having had two children go through this school, I have only positive feelings for my children's experience. The teachers were excellent, with strong leadership from the principal. One of its teachers has been named the Iditarod Teacher on the Trail for next year which is quite an honor. While no school is perfect, a rating of 5 out of 10 is far from the score I would have given it. I am also curious how these scores are determined.
