Our family loves St. James!! Outstanding leadership from Principal Clancy, amazing teachers and fantastic staff. We have always been treated fairly and with great respect. Supporting the school and all of its students is the focus of our fearless leader Principle Clancy. We as parents need to put differences aside and always come together for the betterment of each and every child.

Outstanding!!! My children have attending three elementary schools in three states and I've been happy with all of them but St. James goes above and beyond. So glad we moved into this school district.

St James is the best elementary school in Denver hands down! I have always felt welcomed there as a parent and member of the community. The staff and volunteers at St James are fantastic. My children have all had success and I attribute that to their great school. Middle school was an easy transition for my oldest and I know it was because of the guidance and education that she obtained at St James. Come see the school and meet Mrs Clancy and you will see for yourself how great it is!

Good, but with a few changes, could be great!

Academally excellent. Socially, not an example I would like for my children.I have noticed that this school seems to receive a GreatSchools rating every year or so, but in October 2018 (10/11, 10/11, 10/20), there were three 5-star reviews that bumped the school from 3-star to 4-star overall. Things that make you go hmmm....

Superb! We wouldn't want our children to be anywhere other than at St. James.

Both my children have attended st. James. One of my children still attends. We have had nothing but positive experiences at this school. It is a school where everybody cares.

St. James is amazing! The teachers work so hard to develop relationships with every child and make sure they are learning in their own way.

This school is top notch! We bought our house in a particular neighborhood so that our child could attend St. James. We are so pleased. The staff is welcoming and professional and administration listens to parent's concerns. Our daughter had a successful third grade year. Her teacher was kind, fair, and well organized. We look forward to another successful year.

HORRIBLE! Principal and VicePrincipal are completely ineffective. Bullying runs rampant through this school. School buses break down continually. Constantly wanting money for something. Substitute teachers are barely competent and often rude, aggressive, and hateful. The entire upper echelon at this school should be replaced. Get your child into a different school AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!!

We moved from out of state and could not be happier with our choice of school. Our son looks forward to arriving at school everyday, where he is greeted by the faculty. His teacher is outstanding. She is highly motivated towards the success of the children not only in their studies, but also their social development. We are very pleased with our experience at St. James Elementary.

The staff is great. Very friendly and professional; however the amount of homework being sent home is insane!! With the new Common Core Curriculum in play, classroom seat work has doubled, as well as homework. Some nights my child is working on homework for 4+ hrs! And my child is a 2nd grader. Something has to change!

The principal seems only to be interested in the first in math scores so much that all the kids do in computer class is play on the first in math site so they can be top in the state in first in math.keep in mind that first in math is teaching math not well neede computer skills.the principal looks good if the school scores well with first in math but the kids do not learn anything about computers
