We LOVE Asbury; I can't believe how fortunate we are to have this gem as our neighborhood school! The community we have formed within this school and neighborhood has been incredible. They use project based learning, which teaches my children how to work through large complex issues from start to finish, solving problems and thinking creatively. That, combined with the focus on social emotional learning (SEL) has provided my child with a unique and enriching education for which I am so grateful. The teachers and staff are incredibly dedicated and truly care about the students, making this school a warm and welcoming environment. I highly recommend this school to any parent looking for a top-notch education with a focus on PBL and SEL. It's a true gem in the neighborhood!

We send two of our children to Asbury, and we couldn't be happier. The leadership and the entire staff care deeply for each and every student. They know the kids, they know their families, and they work hard to help everyone succeed. We feel like we don't just have a great school with Asbury...we also have a great community.

A great small school with very active parents. You really get a feeling of a community attending Asbury. The teachers go above and beyond in all aspects. The school looks to encourage many different learning styles and helps push those at the bottom and at the top. I couldn't be happier with my child's experience.

Some of the best leadership I've seen at any school and the teachers go above and beyond.

Really lucky to call Asbury our neighborhood school. The community of teachers, administrators and parents supporting the school can't be beat.

Bad, but some teachers makes it bearable. Some are teaching it wrong and students just lie instead of being honest because feeling are hurt too easily and you’re viewed as the bad guy at the end of the day.

The parent involvement makes this school charming. Change is coming. I think it will be for the better.

Our early years at Asbury were excellent. We have had some struggles with bullying the past year, we decided to pull our youngest daughter from the school at the beginning of this school year and our oldest child asked to be moved 3 weeks into the new school year. Both of our kids now attend a different school. We had high hopes and were very involved volunteers over the past 5-6 years. We wish this school the best, but we were not confident sending either one of our kids to school there this year.

Great parent support! The principal however, needs to work on social skills. We are fearful Asbury is slipping within??

What a wonderful school!! We've been in the neighborhood for the last 18 months after relocating to Denver from North Carolina. Our daughter spent half a year in Kindergarten and a full First Grade year at Asbury, and we honestly couldn't be any happier. Personalized education, a school where the teachers actually get to know (and care about) the students, benefits of a small school environment with the access to all the resources of the surrounding Denver/DU area.. Before/After school care offered is also of a very high quality!!

After looking at a lot of different schools for our daughter, I am so happy we decided on Asbury! Although it doesn't get as much attention as Cory and Steele etc. - it's a wonderful small school and we couldn't be any happier. It offers fabulous and caring teachers and staff, music, (drama new next year), art, PE, after school Spanish and art classes. And, my daughter loves it there so what more could you ask for?

My child has a disability diagnosed by Nancy Uhlmann she has 3 masters degrees in teaching special education one of which covers dyslexia as her focus. Yet they say he has brain issues not Dyslexia he has seen the doctor and it is not brain damage. They still insist. They have my disabled child writing I AM NOT SATISFIED on his work. Having a DISABLED child write this will destroy his confidence. I called and after short discussion was hung up on me. my wife called and they said they don't have time to discuss things with parents its not their job. My other son was written up for poking someone with a wire they didn't even call me. i found out about this 2 months after it happened when they got around to disciplining him. When asked why 2 months later she told my wife they didn't have time. When asked how he got a wire they said they don't have the time to check the classrooms. last yr my oldest was bullied for over a yr and they didn't even notice when it was right in front of them.THIS IS A SCHOOL WITH NO TIME FOR ME OR MY KIDS...OR EVEN CHECK THE SAFETY OF HIS CLASS. ISN'T THIS THE SCHOOLS JOB? I have had so many problems. My kids will NEVER go there again EVER
