This is an outstanding school for students with learning differences, those who don't thrive in large classroom settings and who need ELL help.

Accelerated School are great for teaching and helping kids that have a difficult time in public schools.

My experience has been excellent! It's a great school where they focus more on the individual student.

I have seen & experienced the dishonesty of Jane Queen & Michelle on many occasions. The only thing they care about is getting as much money from parents as they can get and they continually will tell half-truths and flat-out lies to parents and to students. The few good teachers that they had we're the ones that had backbones and stood up to leadership so they were let go and then the school lied to parents about why the teachers were let go. They have brought in a flock of sheep that will bow to their every whim and follow leadership no matter what and will not question anything. They don't care about the students and these new teachers are absolutely ridiculous and ineffectual.

I saw amazing changes and advances in my son within weeks of his arrival at Accelerated. He had been adrift in public schools for some time, but he found a home here and just blossomed. They found a way to help him learn and worked with him through to graduation. I was thrilled!

My experience at Accelerated was only positive due to the magnificent staff/teachers of the 2016/2017 school year. The director of the school, Jane Queen, personally made me and other students feel like we do not matter one bit in this world. Unfortunately, Jane Queen is the director of this private school and a leading member of its school board, so she has virtually unlimited power in her current position.

As a host parent for Accelerated Schools, I have had the privilege of working with Jane Queen and the parents of my host students for many years. I continue to have wonderful relationships with both students and parents since my first assigned student! It has been a privilege to watch students go from struggling with comprehension and difficulty learning certain subjects, to accomplishing the goals and positions in life they never dreamed they could reach. If only public schools could study the various approaches, techniques, and ways Jane Queen has continuously applied to help students become so able and successful!

Both of my boys were not succeeding in our home district public school. Accelerated Schools was able to help my oldest son get back on track to graduate and he is now doing wonderful in college. My younger son has an IEP that was not being followed by his teachers in our home school, he was falling behind in reading and math. He was just a number in such a large school. Now at Accelerated Schools he is confident, and for once he LOVES school. The staff really cares about who he is and provides him what he needs to be successful!

Accelerated Schools is a revolving door of both teachers and students. Jane Queen and Michelle Tuengel lack integrity and credibility, and their goal appears to be selling as many families as possible on lies of a great school culture and sound educational experience. My advice would be to do your homework, and ask for current and former parent references. If they aren't immediately provided obviously that's the first red flag. If you choose this school make sure you do frequent parent/provider observations. You will see Accelerated is not truthful about their student to teacher ratios, student and teacher turnover, teacher experience, curriculum/programs, student support, etc. Ask questions and ask for documentation of their claims - you won't get any. It sounds great to go skiing and go on field trips one day a week for our unique kiddos, but if the rest of the time isn't valuable and if the place is a revolving door it's just not a great place to send your child. Accelerated truly misled us and our school district on the soundness of their program, and their staff capabilities. Jane and Michelle truly were dishonest in our situation and a group of us parents exposed the lies and issues. I can't suggest enough to do your homework and have them prove with documentation their claims. I wish I had and that my child didn't have to go through an unnecessary placement and a terrible experience at Accelerated.

My daughter transferred from Cherry Creek HS and enrolled at Accelerated Schools during her freshman year. The later start times, the decreased homework load, and the caring and compassionate teachers and staff at Accelerated were exactly what she needed. Removing her from the rat race and stress at a public high school (start times at 7:10am, 5 hours of homework/night, faculty who didn't have a care about their students' well being, and oversized classrooms) was the answer to a happier and more balanced teenager. I can't say enough about Jane Queen, Marianna Bagge, Bryon Gentry and the faculty. They truly care about the students and are warm and welcoming. They will never give up on any student that walks through their doors. The faculty and staff put their hearts and souls into this school. The students are their #1 priority. They care about the kids' education and social/emotional well being. The students are prepared for the ACT and SAT. The college application process went smoothly and my daughter was accepted to 75%of the colleges she applied to, all of which were well respected schools and highly ranked. It is never an easy decision to change schools, but we took a chance and it worked out better than we could have imagined. I highly recommend Accelerated Schools to any parent trying to find a better educational fit for their child. The faculty and staff at Accelerated are exceptional human beings and will impress you beyond belief.

I was a student at Accelerated Schools in the late 80s. I cannot say enough good things about my time there. It taught me skills that I use today with my own teenagers that I never would have learned otherwise. I was delighted to see that Jane Queen was still the director there! I have so many wonderful memories of her. There was never a time she wouldn't make herself available, no matter what the reason. I would have sent my children to Accelerated Schools if we lived in Colorado.

Jane Queen is a genius and a genuinely compassionate person. Anyone would be lucky to be under her tutelage.

Terrible does not fully describe the education (if you could call it that) in which Accelerated Schools of Denver provides.

I didn't think my daughter was performing at our local public school, so I took her here. The school is awful, PLEASE DO NOT SEND YOU CHILD TO THIS SCHOOL, it was a waste of 24,000 and has left me in economic ruins.

Accelerated Schools gave me the impression my student would be successful and cared for and for $24,000 per year I thought he would. Come to find out there is no agenda, the students have far too much freedom and earn grades simply for showing up to class.
