I’ve been attending this school since Kindergarten. Ever since, I’ve been treated well by all the staff and students, and cannot find a single thing to complain about. The schools administration interacts with the students often, which helps create a positive relationship between them. In addition to that, the campus that the school sits on is gorgeous. There is plenty of outdoors space, along with multiple outside classrooms for students to enjoy and learn in. Overall, this is a lovely school, which I would highly recommend to anyone.

I am a student here at DCS and feel like the staff targets me and many other individuals. In addition, the teachers often struggle to engage the students causing many to become bored.

I am a mom of a student at DCS and coming from my experience here at DCS I wouldn't recommend this. My child enjoyed coming to school here up until he started middle school, once he started middle school everything changed. He was expected to be perfect and was punished for every mistake which led him to be targeted by the staff here.

The experience I have had with this school is utterly disturbing. They are very unfair and treat a lot of their students poorly even blaming students as if they were some kind of scapegoats l. This truly is despicable and should be stopped.

My son has attended DCS for 9 years (k thru 8th). There has a major decline in the DCS staff. The assumption is that all kids must be perfect and the behavior should align with the DCS guidelines at all times or the students will be punished. It starts at the top. I would definitely not recommended DCS to any parent. We can't wait until the end of this up coming 8th grade year. Sad....

DCS is truly a community school. The students have access to a beautiful campus that offers hiking trails, a pond, beautiful gardens, and unique learning experiences.

My 3 kids have attended many schools in several different states. DCS has been fantastic! 2 of my kids are autistic and the special ed. department has been the best out of any school I have had them in. They really work with you to make sure your child's IEP is the best it can be. My boys have made more progress in one year at DCS than have in the last 5 years of being on IEPs at other schools.

I have 3 grandchildren attending DCS and they love to go to school each day ~ they are being challenged academically and having fun at the same time. The teachers, staff & administration are wonderful, caring people who really take an interest in the children in their care.
