I have always heard that private schools are so much further ahead academically than public schools. We came from a private school to public school and I was amazed at how much further ahead these children were than what my private school kids were! My son has ADHD and the teachers and other staff have been so helpful in helping my child this year. The resources the private school had were very limited. I am so glad to have a school such as newton county elementary that my kids can have a great start to a great education!!

Absolutely horrendous school. Like most of Mississippi, everyone appears nice & sweet. I appreciate the manners that the staff showed, but I expect much more when it pertains to my children's education. Deleting my previous negative review will not change my opinion. If you want your rating score to be higher, why not instead deal with the blatant racism and address the academic issues. My children were being taught material that they had learned 2 years prior in another state. Please do your research before placing your children into this school. IMO, there is a reason that this schol only lists 2 reviews. I can't vouch for others, but I know that several of my negative reviews have been deleted within weeks after posting my opinion/experiences. .
